   Tried to explain I had an issue with the food only to have the owner state no one ever complains and the lady in the background was rude beyond belief. I ordered a battered sausage chips and peas along with a fish chips and peas and a spam. The sausage was mush the chips were inedible the peas were rock hard and the fish was cold in the middle.

   Just been in to Captain Fish had the small fish and chips curry sauce a tea and bread and butter very nice! Have been going in here a few years the girls are all great and treat you as a friend.They are all lead by the owner Captain Fish as customers know him! He has recommended the chicken chips and salad which will give a try

   Clean and tidy, staff helpful and friendly. We had two large fish and chips, one with curry, one with mushy peas, 2 slices of bread and two teas, all for £21. I don't know what the fish was but it wasn't haddock or cod, Bread had margarine on so it got left and the tea was pretty weak and tasteless. It's gone downhill from our last visit so won't be rushing back.

   Made to feel welcome soon has we walked through the door. We had a sit down meal. We didn't after wait long the waitress was friendly and our food arrived not long after placing our order. The fish and chips where lovely and reasonable priced for the quality and portions. Also the cups of tea came with tea pot and large mug and extra pot of hot water to top up .highly recommended to visit i dont think you will be disappointed..me and my friends will certainly visit again in the future
