   Extremely poor service from start to finish. I thought I’d treat myself to a breakfast during a dog walk, so I went to the front door and asked if they take orders outside. I was told yes, so I sat down. After 10 minutes of waiting with no menu or further acknowledgment, I had to get up again, only to then be told they don’t take orders outside—despite them seeing me sit there the whole time. Eventually, someone did come out to take my order. I asked for a large breakfast and two sausages for my dog, but was told they had no sausages. I asked if they had spam instead—no, just bacon. Surprising for a café to run out of such basic breakfast staples. I went ahead with the large breakfast, a cup of tea, and some water. It took another 10 minutes before I was even given water. The breakfast finally arrived and was very basic and over priced for what i received. After finishing my food, I waited another 5 minutes and still hadn’t received my tea. On my way out, I had to ask for it in a takeaway cup. Overall, the whole experience was frustrating and disappointing. I won’t be returning—never experienced such consistently poor service from start to finish.

   Went for breakfast here and got the small breakfast with hash brown. I would argue this breakfast is better than many of the breakfasts I have had within Leeds city centre and beats capri cafe. I would highly recommend, the staff are lovely and accommodating and you can tell the food is made with love. I recommend bringing cash to leave a lovely tip for this amazing local cafe.

   Steve & The Team @ Cafe 509 on Leeds Road, Outwood bring you The Best Breakfast !!! We’ve tested breakfast at all the cafes locally & beyond this one sits at the top !! Wish we could give more than Five Stars !!! As the food is amazing along with service ++ The Cafe is spotless everytime - Open plan kitchen. The consistency is 10/10.

   Just had a light lunch of poached eggs on toast, a generous piece of flapjack and a very acceptable decaff latte - for a grand total of £6.00 !!! Absolute bargain ! And the staff were welcoming and attentive. Well worth a visit !
