Really enjoyed the food tonight and it was really good back to its best as the last 2 times I came for the buffets and I wasn't happy , But I thought I give you another go threw takeaway and it was amazing, really enjoyed it .
Ordered tonight appreciate it’s a Saturday so can take a while to come. Took 1 hr 15 min but food was cold when it arrived, were less than a 15 min drive away so not sure how long it was sat in the car. Because of this the fried foods bahjis chips and pakora were soggy. Rice was flavourful but a bit overcooked.
Delicious food. First time I’ve had Indian food and not had an upset stomach the day after. The chicken was tender and not dried out within the curry. I finally found somewhere that did Fish Kahari. It was really tasty. Only downside was the onion bhaji which I felt could have been crunchier and less salty, but otherwise really enjoyable meal.
6* *FIRST VISIT* Came here without a reservation and thankfully they had a table free which is a good thing since just after we arrived it got VERY busy, every table booked. This is without a doubt the best Indian food I've had in years, to say I was impressed is an understatement. The staff were friendly and helpful even though it got very busy. The food,though, was stunning, absolutely faultless, every starter and mains we had was gorgeous. Prices a little over average but worth every penny. This is definitely the best Indian in Wakefield and the best I've had anywhere in years. I'd highly recommend it but make sure to book to avoid disappointment. *Third visit* went for my birthday, group of 13, booked well in advance. The place is still the best Indian restaurant in Wakefield. We all had an amazing time.Food, Service and Prices were still brilliant. Special thanks to Ali who went above and beyond.Much appreciated. *Fourth visit* still gorgeous food, great service and good prices.
We have visited the Darton branch for the last 10 years and only recently found out about the Wakefield one! Both local and both 10/10. Lovely food, lovely lads and lovely interior!
We tried the Sunday buffet for the first time. There was a limited choice of dishes, but fine for us. The quality of the starters and curries was great. We loved the fact that they cooked naans to order for us, and ours was delicious. Overall it was very good value and we will be back! The waiters were attentive and pleasant, but the restaurant decoration could do with a bit of sprucing up.
An amazing take away! We leave locally and sometimes treat our self to take away! We did order from this restaurant before it was ok, but now it’s just another level! Or chef have been changed or something else. Delivery is quick and nice but the most amazing is food!! It is cooked so so well that even me who is not a fan of Indian cuisine just loving it! Was always careful with curries and was ordering same dishes all the time but here I ordered couple unknown by mistake and they was as good as any others we really recommend it!
We dined out again tonight, we also get take out on a regular basis too. The food, as always, was delicious. We have always been delighted with our meals. Meals can be adapted to our tastes and when wanting to choose something new they will offer lots of good advice. The service is impeccable, we never feel rushed and throughout the meal they ensure we are happy with everything. There is always a lovely, friendly atmosphere when we go, It is a place we go to for a simple tea, a night out with friends or for a special night out to celebrate. We cannot rate them high enough, you will not be disappointed.
We have been coming here at least once a week for the last 8 months. We love curry & have eaten in many different restaurants but oh my goodness Royal Spice is just the best. The food is just amazing & the staff are so attentive & friendly. We have been again this evening & although they were exceptionally busier than normal, the food was spot on as always & the service was brilliant
First class food and truly friendly staff make this one of the better Indian restaurant's in Wakefield.
