   Nearest chippy to the premier Inn. Chips were brilliant, fish was good but some of the batter was a bit iffy. I just left that bit. Overall worth the trip if you don't want brewers fayre. I went back again today as I'm back at the premier Inn. Absolutely perfect fish and chips. I'll be back if I'm back at the prem inn

   This is the third time we’ve been disappointed after going to this Fish & chip shop, well there won’t be a fourth, my fish went to my cat and my partner threw half of his away. The batter of which I normally enjoy at other places was thick and stodgy, both of our batter was disgusting, apparently they had just cooked them. For the price they charge and the competition around them you’d think they’d have more pride in what they serve. Definitely WOULD NOT recommend………Yuk!!

   Still standing strong after over 30 years of business, and that’s something Annie’s should be very proud of. Friendly, engaging staff who are always ready for a laugh. Regarding menu choices… you get all the regular fish and chip shop goodies plus other delights like shredded chicken or halloumi cheese. Food seems to be of very high standard, cooked in a light and fresh batter. Classically I went for chips, scraps with gravy & again cooked to perfection with a nice thick beefy gravy. As a bonus they still provide complimentary condiments ranging from sweet chilli to PiriPiri hot sauce through to standard tartar sauce & tomato ketchup. Annie’s is easily missed as it is integrated into the terrace houses on Leeds Road, so keep an eye out because you don’t want to pass by this little gem. As reference point it’s two doors down from spectrum blinds and there is tons of free roadside parking. As for prices I would say they are below average for fish & chips which is astounding given the great quality and taste.

   Called today for chips and scollops. Haven't been for a while. Very polite service as usual. Great value. Everything tasted lovely, gave my dog a few chips and scraps as a treat. Scoffed the lot. Definitely calling again.
