   Been ordering off Mezaj for years. They are one of the best takeaways in Leeds. Their Arabic Shawarma wrap is my go to and I love their rice so much. Also love the kofta wrap, mango lassi, milk cakes, hummus, etc. Nothing will ever compare to Mezaj, they're one of a kind and clearly must be wonderful people as they always put care into the food they make. Love you Mezaj

   Tried this place as I wanted a proper kebab whilst in the Leeds area. I went for the mixed grill and wasn't disappointed! The meat was all cooked well, and seasoned properly too. I'd get it again, defo worth a go esp if you see deals on uber, deliveroo ect.

   Have tried Shawarma from this little gem few times. My daughter is a big fan of this place. Service is top notch, very friendly owner. The sign outside says Best Shawarma in Town- Undoubtedly. Garlic sauce inside the shawarma is top stuff. Highly recommended. Very reasonably prices.

   We were in Leeds, me & my close friend, & his nephew went to purchase some DJ speakers. Anyway, on the way back, he started talking about rate my takeaway guy off the YouTube. He went to this shawarma place called Mezaj Shawarma. which I saw the video week before. So we decided to go try it out. Got the £20 box exactly same. As rate my takeaway guy got with everything. You get 3 shish kebabs - I think it was two lamb one chicken - lamb boti - chicken wings -one shawarma wrap which is cut in slices so U get 4 two 5 pieces of the shawarma wrap. You get quite a lot of food. Which if your really really hungry it can feed two people. But it serves two to 3 people when I asked, the box. Plus you get a box of salad a box of chips & a box of rice. I tasted some of the rice but for my liking the rice had no flavour all. The rice for me was bland. The shawarma I tasted a of the piece without any sauce. It was dry, no flavour. But the shawarma wrap had quite a lot of flavour kicking out from the sauce that they had in the shawarma wrap. The sheesh kebab had good flavour. The chicken wing was decent nothing to shout about. Right, let’s get into this. Overall I rate the food 6 two 7 out of 10.

   Lovely staff and amazing food! Definitely the best shawarma/falafel wraps we’ve ever had and their wings are amazing too.. basically all their food is delicious

   I have visited this charming place several times and it always has a lovely atmosphere. My favourites are the shawarma sandwich and grilled chicken kebab sandwich (shish). Great drinks options and I very much enjoyed my time there chatting with the staff there, who are very friendly and kind. I always try something new and I have not been disappointed - well worth a visit and highly recommended if you are around.
