Ryan's Redemption - really great offering and a cornerstone of restaurants here in Burley. I moved to Leeds about 5 years ago and was very excited to try the food here, but the first two times i wasn't too keen - the jerk sauce was very sweet and the Curry goat was always out of stock when we tried to order. As a result, we've avoided Ryans for the past few years, but last night a few friends and I gave it another go and all were impressed with the flavour of the food and the hospitality from the team. Already looking forward to the next time we eat here, and excited to know that there is good Caribbean food closer than Leeds city centre.

Honestly the food is amazing but I’m so sick oh how unorganised they are. They’re never open on time and they always cancel Uber Eats orders last minute… it’s so frustrating and disappointing because the guy is an incredible cook but can’t run the business properly!

This place came highly recommended by a work colleague. The place has a great vibe with some classic 90s tunes . The decor gives it an authentic feel. I was greeted with a welcoming smile that made me feel like a regular even though I had never been before. I ordered the curry goat and rice and peas and 2 dumplings . Let’s start with the dumplings. They were freshly fried, warm, big and fluffy and really tasty. The rice was fresh and so tasty. The curry goat was lovely and the meat was quality. I paid £15 which seemed expensive, however the site prices suggests that it should be £11 so I do not know if it was a miscalculation.

BANGING. Top top stuff. It is hard to get a good west indian food shop these days… anywhere, so my Mes and I were going to Ryan’s kitchen with baited breath but goodness me… what a cook. Authentic and reasonably priced as well. We will be back! Would defo recommend

Raw rice, hard, salty fried dumplings and watery curry lamb. Do you like serving people or is it just because of money making. Absolutely disgusting . I wasted my money.

Great food, generous portions deliciously tasty, and really good value for money. More importantly nearly all the food is gluten free, dairy free, and nut free. Definitely not flavour free though! Friendly staff too. The staff are really helpful and well informed about allergies. Go visit this place or have a meal delivered. You won't regret it!

Don’t bother, makes the maccies down the road look like a Michelin star. However, I recommend the goat curry, it was tasty but I suggest ordering about 8 portions, as it’s essentially a box of bone with a tablespoon of sauce, which would work out at an absolute steal at 64 quid I’d say. Ryan’s kitchen needs a reality check. Oh and the mac n cheese is missing the mac.

Got the jerk chicken, and it was delicious. Tasted awesome, good salt level and the chicken was very tender. Was also pleasantly surprised by how much chicken I was given, and how more-ish the sweet gravy is. The staff were very friendly and the kitchen has a nice relaxed vibe to it. Would definitely recommend.
