   Firstly, the food we had at MyMakan was delicious. For starters we had Roti Canai which was crisp and flaky, and Karipap which was lovely too. For our main course we had Mee Kari (curried noodle soup, really delicious and spicy, generous size) and Beef Rendang. I found that the beef in the rendang was very tough and dry. The sauce was delicious though. I did however order it with a side of coconut rice, which was delicious too, but a good example of our main criticism of MyMakan - it’s too expensive. Our rendang was £15.25 for a pretty modest portion, and the rice was another £5.50 on top of that. The service we received was great, our waitress was lovely. She did inform us that quite a few dishes on the menu weren’t available, which makes me think that maybe the menu should be cut down a bit. Ultimately, we found the total cost of the meal (for 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 soft drinks) to be unsustainable, so despite the food being mostly great, we likely won’t be back.

   Having come from Malaysia, this restaurant serves food that’s pretty accurate to how it’s done over there! We especially liked the mee kari and the ABC (very unique dessert!). I left extremely satisfied. One downside was that we had been waiting an hour for the food to come. However the staff were very well aware of this and would assure us that it would come. Another downside was that the portion of the char kuey teow was quite small, and it was similarly priced to the mee kari (pictured). I think with time the service will improve, and it would also be nice to serve a portion that suits the price paid. However, I will come back and I do look forward to it!

   Lovely restaurant with a beautiful atmosphere. The food is as promised to be true to authentic Malaysian food. It was delicious! The best part is that it’s 100% halal and alcohol-free. The service was also splendid. Can’t wait to eat here again whenever I’m homesick.

   Literally just left the place and can't post this review quick enough. The beef rendang was sensational (one of the tastiest dishes I've ever had) with large pieces of beef, unlike a lot of places. The starters were very nice also and the restaurant is lovely and calm inside with courteous young staff who were lovely. 100% going again soon.

   We've been wanting to try this place for a long time, eventually we got the chance to come and it was excellent! Lots of fresh tasty food! The menu isn't extensive but it doesn't need to be. There are enough options for you to have the full experience. There are lots of vegan option and if you like seafood that was great too! I was totally in blown away by the seafood noodle main dish ( sorry can't remember the name) it was a massive portion but it was soooo nice I had to finish it! The desert menu has some cool sounding items on there. My partner tried one and it had little tapioca balls with coconut milk she really enjoyed it. There was only one problem and that's the door bell. The door bell rings and that's for the servers to collect food. It's really off putting, maybe a pager system might be the right way to go? Thanks for the experience! Definitely be coming back!

   Really amazing food. Had some lovely spring rolls and satay chicken with a homemade satay sauce. Nice nice. The Beef Rendang tasted really authentic,rich and beautiful. Seafood laksa is also amazing coconut milk fish broth with really well cook fish. The squid was so tender uuummmm
