CLOSED DOWN After many great meals over the years when living nearby I still called once or twice a year when in the area. Today I called and the number was disconnected. I drove by anyway to find the shop is no longer there. Looks like it closed about a year ago based on reviews and a new Google listing for another shop. Sorry to see it gone. Shall miss the Pathia!

Ordered here tonight at my sisters house, delivery driver turned up opened bag it was missing a pilau rice and salad also sent 3 chapati's we didn't order, my sister rang up only to be told we only ordered one rice and we didn't order salad ( which we did as we had everything wrote down )and the chappatis came with the curry? So let us order rice with the curry? Just so they could charge us thats why, the guy on the phone was arrogant rude and was unwilling to help, just said we'l send a portion of rice and salad charge for both plus delivery. Safe to say we won't be going back this place, its been hit and miss for years now.

The best end of story. I've been going here since I moved to Ossett 20 years ago. The food is always great for us and staff are always smiling and friendly. Over the years I've tried others too when they have been closed and didn't meet the same taste/standard that we have grown to love. The only place for us.

Firstly this is very pricey...secondly the last time we ordered it was amazing, this time the rice was missing, chips clearly reheated, although still cold and hardly any. We called to say we had an incomplete order, were promised the rice and some more chips would be sent. We waited and waited, tried to call, couldn't get through and eventually when we did, were told we'd get a discount next time ....great food, rubbish service !

I ordered a fish curry expecting at the very least white fish I opened it to find just stewed up curry no flakes it was tinned tuna in the curry as you could smell it. I've never had a fish curry like it and the high price for a tin of tuna and sauce very disappointed.

INDUS is the best indian curry shop in all of Wakefield, Ossett and Batley. The curries are out of this WORLD. The appetizers are fulfilling and all the for is always freshly prepared and authentic ingredients are used to give all the amazing aromas and textures to drive you wild and keep you ordering from here all the time. I order from here 2 times a week, and I love it.
