   We hired the upstairs space for our kids' Christening and had a very positive experience. Helen and her team were approachable, professional, attentive and pleasant to deal with before, during and after the event. So much so we left a tip from our deposit. We couldn't find a working telephone number at one point to discuss the booking, but I'm sure that's just a teething issue that will get resolved. But other than that, the perfect experience. Thank you

   What a gem of a spot! I visited Town Street Tavern for the first time last night for a quiet Monday evening drink with a friend, and I was impressed. It’s a lovely place—stylish yet relaxed, with an effortlessly cosy ambience that makes you want to settle in and stay a while. The setup is perfect—plenty of seating but still intimate, with warm lighting and great little details that give it a welcoming, lived-in feel and the staff were friendly. One of the standout things for me was the music. Absolutely brilliant. Mostly 80s classics playing throughout the couple of hours we were there—such a great vibe. Just the right volume, so you can still have a proper chat without shouting over it, but still enjoy the nostalgia and toe-tapping in the background. Drinks-wise, great selection. Well-stocked bar with quality choices. All in all, I loved it. A real find, especially on a Monday night. Can't wait to go back—this might just become a new regular spot for me.

   A smashing place. Recently refurbished and new upholstery very nice. Very good choice of drinks. A little up market but not too expensive. Lovely atmosphere. Toilets are down a flight of steps into the basement.

   Popped in for Sunday lunch. There was 7 if us. Food was nice portions a bit small. Meat, Yorkshire pudding, roast potato and 2 veg with the dinner 1 more veg and a bit of mash would have been nice. The wait for the food seemed long (30 miuntes) to say there were not many eating. Service from the staff was OK, however it would have been nice to have our empty dinner plates cleared from the table when our puddings were brought out. Thank you for dinner and will be in for a drink again soon.

   Popped in by chance for Sunday dinner. Dinner was nice very hot, a little bland for my taste! But still managed to finish it. Advertised free pudding but wasnt offered one? Dog friendly which is good for future reference. Would definatley try again.
