   2/09/25 5pm .. called for fish n chips for tea today and for the second time in a row the chips were cold and the fish was barely warm and greyish, I specifically asked for cod, but it was more stronger taste so think it was haddock £15 was the cost to put into the bin, I’m very disappointed and won’t be coming anymore at tea time, the food is much better at lunchtime when the Cypriot guys are in never had a problem at lunchtime time. So why can’t it in early evening.

   dropped in on Saturday on the way home from a disappointing football day out ( but that's another story ) cracking service cracking fish and chips along with plan burger and chips well worth a visit :-)

   Great service from the young blonde lady. She was very friendly and polite. A real asset to the company. The fish and chips were great tasting and at a great price. Nothing but 5 stars. Highly recommend.

   Called in on a lunch time. Food was really greasy, so much so most of it went in the bin. Battered sausage oozed fat with every bit and chips were bland and limp. Lady who served us was nice though, otherwise it would have been one star.

   Until recently this would have been 5 rating without a doubt, and food quality still deserves a 5. Problem is now after about 6pm there’s never any food ready, and nobody knows where to queue due to all the people waiting for their order. Last night for example they’d sold out of meat pies 2.5 hours before closing and couldn’t heat up another one. So in all great food and friendly service but why so little food?

   Excellent fish and chips from here .The cod is fresh and beautiful cooked in a crispy batter,good portion of nice chips.Owner and staff friendly and polite premises are spotless Great chip-shop highly recommended.Only downside the chip shop is in Worksop and we live in Retford but its well worth the travel,

   It's clean and tidy, service is pretty fast/pleasant and the food is really good quality. It's not overly cheap at 1 portion of Fish & chips, a fish cake, peas and a curry sauce costing around £12, however, the portion size more than makes up for it.

   Authentic Yorkshire fishcake. The portion size is great! Nice balance of Batter, spud and fish. Takes me back to When I lived in Yorkshire. Tasty! The fish and chips here are lovely as well. Staff are Great! Polite and helpful. A good experience. Support local businesses folks. They need our support.
