   I visited Chikanos Batley recently after a long time and was served by a largely built male at the counter. While speaking to him he made no eye contact with me and came across very arrogant. He needs to learn customer service and should not be allowed to be front of house staff. He looks bad for the image. Please bring back the old staff who actually greeted customers with a smile. Secondly, Chikanos prices have become extortionate but portions have become less. This isn’t London it’s small town Batley. The chips given was not only cold, but the portion was a kiddies portion. I remember the lovely vibe Chikanos once had. The vibe is no longer there. I will not be buying from Chikanos again. And for the record, friends and family have also commented on how much Chikanos has gone down . If they don’t improve I honestly cannot see Chikanos lasting for long.

   Horrible place. Fries were half cooked. Burger was cold. Staff very unprofessional. I visited today. and how is it that the place I used to once adore has become a very expensive. How is a buffalo ranch meal 11 quid!! Fix your place and your workers Chickanos!!!!!!

   Ordered for nashville burger and instead of fillets they gave me tenders and more than that they were too cold and hard … not able to bite them …. And doesn’t seems like Nashville burger.

   Just went to get my autistic son his favourite boneless box meal and then they had a offer on the buffalo ranch meal deal for £3.59 so got them for my other kids. The place seemed clean and also didn't have to wait that long for the food. Great service, nice atmosphere

   Came here at lunchtime on a Sunday, and it was fairly quiet at around 12.00 so a good time to go. Plenty of seating, only minor issue was the table we chose hadn't been cleaned properly but it was no big deal. We ordered the Nashville and buffalo burgers, and a side of honey chilli chicken bites to share. Both burgers were of excellent quality....and delicious. The chicken bites were fabulous, with the spiciness offset by the sweet flavour perfectly. Chips were sound, what you would expect. In terms of value for money, possibly slightly on the pricey side but worth it for the taste. You get what you pay for. If you are in Batley and hungry, you won't go wrong with this place. Recommended!

   Really disappointed. Make sure whoever goes you tell them you want fresh food which is hot. This is the third time i am having chickanos and the food was cold. Burger and fries both. If we are paying so much for a burger meal we should atleast get it fresh. I aint a person who complains and tries to get a refund so i thought il mention it on this.

   Placed my order got told 5 to 10 minutes. I got the mexicano with buffalo sauce and the burger was good. However I waited 20 minutes longer for my food expecting a hot meal. I received a cold burger to the point where my bun was actually cold I live a few minutes drive from chickanos and didn't expect a cold burger

   Prices go up but food quality goes down? Wana hear a joke? A CHICKEN BURGER IS 6.95 ALONE. For a meal it’s an extra 1.49…. Other not so basic but not so great burger meals with no premium meat just bob standard chicken and cheap meat, mighty Memphis is £10.19 for burger only. Plenty of better quality chicken places with nice food who don’t completely try to rip off their customers.

   The food is good but the value for money definitely isn’t great. 6.49 for a wings meal? Not worth it. £9+ for a signature burger is insane. Rather go somewhere else like HFC where it’s not a rip off and the food is worth it.

   Food was ok but not amazing, I ordered 2 butterfly chicken meals and a portion of chips with the hotest flavouring and it was mild at best, I waited 35 minutes for my order to be made so my expectations were high with how busy they were! I think I'll stick to HFC, there extra hot is actually hot and the quality of food and value for money is far superior in my opinion!
