Went there for dinner. The place was empty, maybe five tables full and about four waiters working. And yet we had to wait five minutes before one of them even looked at us and gave us a table. We were completely ignored for ten minutes, no one even came to ask us for drinks. We could see the workers chatting and laughing up at the bar. When we decided to leave they saw us going and didn’t even bat an eye and seemed perfectly fine with losing two hungry customers

We normally consider TGIs to be a nice little treat, but it just didn't feel like that yesterday. We came in at around 8pm and, on arrival, was told that the kitchen would be closing in an hour. Not a big problem to be fair, but did make us feel pretty rushed as we didn't want to be an inconvenience. Ordered dinner and drinks just fine, and asked for a pot of burger mayo on the side, which never arrived. The food itself was really nice, with big portions. However, both my husband and I asked for a drink refill (just pop), which took about 15 minutes, with only one drink arriving. When we finished, we asked for the bill and were sat waiting for a good 20 minutes. Looking around, we could also see other tables now standing up waiting for their bill. We queried how long it would take and, 5 minutes later, we were presented with the card machine - no bill in sight to show what we were paying for or the total amount. My husband was also concerned as no gratuity option came up on screen, making him think it had already been selected without his knowledge. I would hope this was not the case. All-in-all not the best experience, though we understand it was a late visit and these things tend to happen at the end of a long shift.

Absolutely fantastic food and service. We were served by Maddie, very polite and just what you want from restaurant staff. The steak was just perfectly medium rare, my partner was given a recommendation for a chicken burger and she loved it. I'll definitely be visiting again. This was my first ever visit to a TGI.

Not a bad place to eat at. Staff very helpful and polite. Food was brought out in good time. Will go back.

We went in for a bite to eat after the cinema and were glad we did. It is a busy place but we were served quickly and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is more of an American style. I did think the menu looked a little pricey but when we order we realised why, you get more then your moneys worth as the meals are large and really tasty. We enjoyed our meals and will definitely be going back when we get the chance and I would recommend it anyone.

The manager was very helpful when taking my order but I couldn't have the starter I wanted as they had no grated cheese. Seems like a very basic product to have in any kitchen. I then couldn't have the main course I wanted as they were out of stock. It seems a bit pointless eating out if the selection is considerably less than detailed on the menu, especially at these prices. I honestly cannot see me eating there again.

For starters we had the Cheese & Bacon Potato Skins, in all honestly these really were not that great. Lack of seasoning etc, won’t be having these again. For £6.75 I expect a bit more to be honest. Now onto the star of the show the mains. I had the Fridays® Sesame Chicken Strips with House Fries and these were incredible as they are every time. The Jack Daniels sauce perfectly compliments the chicken. If you’ve not ordered this before you’re missing out! My partner had the Garlic Chicken, she said it was moist and lacked flavour, the fries were a bit greasy but other than that not bad. Overall a not a bad choice, I suppose you know what you're getting with them being a chain.
