Singularly the most disgusting meal I have ever eaten! The salmon was rock hard, the beans were foul tasting and rubbery and the mash was lumpy. Also, I don't have a problem clearing my table but this seems to give staff an excuse to not wipe them down. Absolutely appalling!
A shadow of what it used to be, smaller portions, empty fridges, higher prices, dirtier tables. The rattle from the trollies as you wheel them around is irritating too. Probably still good for a breakfast but kater in the day has really lost its appeal.
As it turns out, I arrived just as they started serving breakfast and there was already a queue of regulars there. There was a range of foods on offer including fresh bread rolls and cakes in addition to the breakfast fare. You can mix and match what you want by the looks, but I went for the veggie breakfast with toast, fruit juice and coffee as extras. Its refillable coffee and the food was decent for the price. The mushrooms seem to be boiled rather than fried. It is tempting to go get a tiramisu as breakfast pudding.
Self served for hot drinks like wetherspoon, and ready to take dessert like a buffet, queued for hot food, payment at the counter after taking hot food ,dessert, and the empty cup for later adding coffee. Self clean table and return dishes to tray trolley, just like food court. Don't expect service and clean table. Food quality normal and standard. Remember to register for members for free coffee. I have been here several times and always enjoyed it, but unfortunately I noticed that today was absolutely dirty, this should definitely be improved, wasn’t nice seeing almost all tables dirty and food all over. We started to clean the tables to be able to sit. I really enjoy my Ikea visits and i am writing this review as i was shocked by the cleanliness level. Also, the sofa was ripped which is unusual. Also, just to mention, the staff there were lovely and friendly and i never had an issue with the customer service
Oh god. I am never going for lunch here again. The breakfasts are great but the lunch is terrible. I rarely leave bad reviews so you can trust me when I tell you it was awfull. Over an hour wait to be served, food was pretty bland and expensive. Cost about £20 to feed myself and a child whilst my partner was shopping. If you are thinking of chilling in the restaurant while the other half shops, sneak in some snacks instead.
Good food, salmon was OK , and the peas were steamed just right. Needed some help to get the place we wanted to sit clean
Shame our visit today was very disappointing. No plant balls, or other veggie options other than chips. Lots of cakes missing, no Daim, no Cheesecake, no whipped cream. Really feels like the portion sizes are decreasing. Used to be a fun part of a trip to ikea, but think in future we will avoid the restaurant.
