    Paid over £5 for a large well done spam. Only it was i that was well done, 3 half slices of spam in a large bread cake, the cheapest of the breakfast meats and you get 3 half slices.

    What a lovely little gem of a place. A proper traditional cafe. We had two breakfast sandwiches which were filled really generously with good quality items and the bread was really fresh. The hot drinks were great and the two ladies who were serving/cooking were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Will definately return if we are in the area.

    Good English breakfast, albeit slightly let down by one of the staff overcooking the bacon until it's like leather. Also seem to suffer from a butter shortage as the toast only gets a small dob in the middle and the outer parts are left dry. Good pot of tea.
