   Came in the tonight and was really impressed. The staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough for you (especially Jackie, Jess and Oliver) and the service was quick even though it was busy. Great choice of beers on tap, all kept really well, and a decent selection of wines and spirits too. The food was spot on, proper pub classics done well, good portions, and served piping hot. Prices are good for the quality you get.

   If you've not been for a while what a difference the staff are very friendly and efficient, the food was delicious. Jackie who looked after us couldn't of done any more. Will definitely be returning. Highly recommend

   Love the loaded fries and the the staff are really nice Jess was especially acomidating. The food was really nice and all orders were excellent, even for me as a picky eater. Will definitely go again. They're also dog friendly with a small station with treats, water and water bowls.

   Very nice helpful staff, very friendly. Food was amazing. I had the chopped salad bowl with added salmon. The dressing was delicious. The chef even sent out some extra bits to go with my salad! A very nice gesture. (In the photo pls note The peas on my salad don’t come with the food they are from the fish and chips!) All was very good. We ordered the fish and chips too so 2 meals and a drink each for £19.50. Great value for money. Lots to choose from too. Will definitely be back.

   Really happy that our local is making great strides to being great again. Went in for a few beers and some food. Food was excellent, service very good and drinks spot on and good value. Please keep it up we have missed you. What a mess you were made by the departed incumbents over last few years, onwards and upwards.

   Meal was described as being served with seasoned chips, when they arrived they were just plain chips. I asked the lady serving us who went to check with the chef. She returned and said they were lightly salted. I asked for a fork and was told to go get one from the other side of the bar. The beer tasted funny, staff member was unhelpful. To top it off I went to the toilet to find there was no toilet roll

   My family went for a meal tonight, my sister who’s only young noticed her kids chicken burger was pink after a few bites, I went and spoke to someone at the bar about this and his reaction to the photo was ‘it’s definitely cooked I can do her another but it will only Look the same’ I then asked if it was a chicken breast or thigh as sometimes thighs can be different colour to breast he then said it was a breast but with a vein in it, I assured him this was not a vein and that it’s got my sister worrying that she will be poorly for Xmas he then said ‘she won’t be poorly I can do her another but like I said it will be the same’ definitely wouldn’t order anything chicken!!!

   Out of 7 meals only one was a disappointment (over cooked scampi). We then ordered deserts and were waiting about an hour for them. Staff not particularly friendly, when we asked about the delayed deserts we were told 'they would arrive when they were ready'. Overall food was good.
