Cannot recommend this place enough! Great food and atmosphere. The people who work there are so friendly and welcoming and the food is best I’ve tasted! Just go, you will not be disappointed!
Me and my husband have just had a lovely meal her food was amazing starters & mains service was fast but we were the only ones in with it being early .our waiter was just ok polite but didn't really interact. The young guy behind the bar was very friendly . The first time visiting but will definitely be back .
The new management have really turned this place around. Excellent food and excellent service. The lamb chop balti was one of the best curry's I've had.
Food is 10/10, absolutely loved the curries, the onion bajis were by far the best I’ve had! The mixed grilled starter hit the spot. Lovely atmosphere and the service was amazing. Staff were really friendly. Will be returning for sure.
Chilli Lodge now on Bradford Road, Batley - used to be in Tingley. Booked in advance for a dinner for 19 on Jan 18 and took advantage of their Wednesday night 5-courses-for-£14.95-deal. No drinks licence but Bargain Booze is next door. Everyone was impressed with the food, the service and the value. Hats off to the chef and helpers for coping with so many different orders for starters, mains and sundries from a big menu and getting them all to the table at the same time. Great food, amazing value. Well done Hassan and the back room staff. Recommended.
I ordered a takeaway after I'd been into the restaurant to eat a while back so I thought I'd try there instead. As a chef I totally understand how busy it can get and when you're under pressure it can get frustrating but if the passion isn't there you shouldn't be cooking food full stop. I ordered at 17.46pm I had my food delivered within 30mins, only thing is my order was quite big and it I know how long it takes to cook all that in quick time, I could have waited the extra half hour for a bit of fresh food instead in tasted like yesterday's. The fact I know it was microwaved is terrifying as some parts of my food were cold some parts were hot. It's normally hot as soon as it arrives. Just disappointed I didn't get the same experience as I did when dining there.
The order was missing items. The food was clap cold. Phoned up and the man was rude and argumentative on the phone saying the items were there when he sent them out, When he realised he was looking at the wrong order he still refused to put things right . we Asked if he could bring the missing items and he said no it’s too far to come . Aggressive and don’t deserve any custom . I personally would use them again
We decided to treat our 9 year old daughter out for a Valentines day meal. She chose Indian food so we thought we would give Pink Popadom a try. We was not disappointed. Absolutely delish! Best meal we've ever had. I would HIGHLY recommend here. Not only was the meal delicious but the staff are so lovely, friendly and very welcoming. It's lovely inside too. We sat on a booth and it felt nice and private from other people. We will definitely be back again and I do hope this review as other people wanting to try here. Thank you Pink Popadom. ❤
Lovely food big portions tasted great very cheap. Take your own alcoholic drinks bargain booze next door staff really friendly will go back
