The food is amazingly tasty as well as fairly priced, with some great deals and offers. The staff and owner are always professional and welcoming.
Moved into the mirfield area recently and have found this to be the best chip shop around! The food is always amazing, they have such a wide range of meals and ideas also and to top that off the customer service is outstanding. The lads have a passion for their work and like to make you feel welcome along with great food Recommend to anyone!
The staff here are lovely, friendly and welcoming. The fish is delicious, golden and not greasy at all. The chips are always done to perfection and the, recently launched, loaded chips are amazing, loads for your money, all fresh and tasty. 5* I would definitely recommend
I'm from nottingham. Called in last night walking past. The 2 men and women behind the counter serving was nice and polite. I ordered kebabmeat chips and salad and a can of pop. Only just over £7. There was loads great value for money. Keep the shop Nice and clean . Will be going back. be for I go back to notts 10 out of 10 Cheers from Nottingham Paul
This use to be my regular fish and chip shop, however since new owners have taken over the quality, portion size is absolutely terrible. I paid for two fish sandwiches and I believe there was more batter than fish.
Fish cooked to order ,chips crispy and decent portion. Will be returning soon.
2nd time I had a takeaway from here in the 2 weeks since I moved into the area this will be the last time. On both occasions the chips were awful and manky and the 2nd time they didn't have any pies or sausages when I called in one evening. Rubbish!
Been to Jacks Chippy a few times now & had lovely sausage & chips , pie & chips, very polite & good value , given how much it costs to eat out these days

Very good friendly fryer and staff, portions are large and the fish (not sausage sized like most chippys) is super fresh and tasty, chips are always cooked to perfection, prices are better than other fish and chips in Mirfield too…deffo best chippy in Mirfield by far!
