   this was an alright place, the main consolation was the cool sign outside the pub. also I felt like Frodo and company entering the prancing pony as we had just waded through thick fog down a marshy farmers road to get to this pub. came for the soft drinks, stayed for 15 minutes.

   Driven past hereany times but never called in. Attended a family function and it was lovely. We were given a seating section away from everywhere else, the staff were so friendly and efficient. We all ordered individually at the bar but still the cooking and serving was coordinated so it was all ready at once which was really good service. The food itself was delicious and there were some really nice dishes a little different to the usual pub offerings. Reasonable price too and a clean and pleasant atmosphere. Really enjoyed the visit.

   Excellent, we nipped here and were so pleased we did. Although desperate for a steak Mike and I had the meal deal menus and he loved it. Fish and Chips, I had the Southernfriedchicken and our lass had the steak Very nice, weather was good, we sat outside, kids were playing.

   Both times we have been the food has been absolutely delicious with very good portion sizes. I had the New Jersey butter chicken on both occasions and my wife has tried the mixed grill and the steak which she loved and they also do a Thai fishcake which as definately worth trying. The staff are lovely too friendly and chatty. My only complaint is the lack of choice with the spirits.. I was very disappointed to find no Southern comfort which has been a staple of every single pub I have ever been in and usually my fallback choice as I usually drink Rum but there was only one type of Rum and no Coke It's a real drawback for me but we shall be back again and I shall try again for a good drink to go with a lovely dinner

   Went here a few times now had steak pie with vegetables & chips with a pint of Amstel & cheese and bacon burger with a pint of Guinness staff were nice service was good place was nice & clean would go back

   the special lunch £12 for two meals was only we ordered. the meals were just ok. you can not expect too much on £6 per meal. the chocolate junkyard was delicious but just too small portion.

   Usually found the food here to be a good standard. Well today told us a different story I ordered the mix grill & asked for steak medium to well was more like rare to medium plus asked for no fried egg & mushy peas instead of garden peas & it came with neither request applied & the shrivelled battered piece on side of the plate is what they onion rings.

   Nice pub with a good beer garden and plenty of parking. Food is average prices but nice and tasty. Might have got 5 stars if had a selection of real ales but had to settle with Guinness.
