   Everything a good truck stop should be. Plenty of hard standing parking, wide bays and room to maneuver. Showers / toilets are modern and clean. They offer really good food, a decent bar and great staff. To top it off it’s also well priced, cheaper than Motorway services and a decent voucher towards food. One of those places I look forward to stopping at if it’s feasible to get there.

   What a great find. Stopped over in our campervan. Parked in the car park not the truck park. Free parking. Had the carvery but there is a full pub grub menu. Delicious. Good nights sleep. Great shower and toilet facilities, super modern and clean. Cosy bar. Friendly folk. Good choice of traditional cooked breakfasts. We will be back. It is pretty much impossible to find a stopover with food on a Sunday and/or Monday night and 24 hour toilet access. This is it.

   This is a fantastic place, for a meal, or for drink or two. The menu is varied, the quality of the meals is amazing, they are very tasty and a very reasonable price. My favourite is the steak pie, it is something else, full of meat, and like other choices very enjoyable. I have taken my elderly mum several times, it’s firm favourite of hers and mine. I also enjoy a good night out with friends there, the drinks menu is varied, and the atmosphere friendly and welcoming. If I could give this place more than five stars, I would, it is that good.

   Definitely a 5⭐️ place to stay - everything's wonderful here: clean parking area, amazing food (dinner and breakfast), pub, showering facilities, clean toilets, best value for money and yet I can't rate it 5⭐️ overall because you don't let me to choose the temperature of the water in the shower and the water here is boiling hot it's hurting the body. Fun fact - there is cold water in the shower room but it's only for a sink and a toilet. Why? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

   Best truck stop I've seen in a while. With generous portion of food. Only negative and its only a small one, is that the knifes need sharpening or having stake knifes available for the lovely cuts of beef.

   First time visiting The Stockyard, had a really enjoyable experience, the ladies behind the counter were really great and friendly. I had the Stockyard breakfast (photo) and removed the tomatoes, black pudding and mushrooms because I’m a fuss and they topped up the plate with other items which was a nice touch. Coffee was absolutely spot on and price point for it all was below £8. Very clean place to eat and freshen up and plenty of room for parking.

   Very lovely place to stay with friendly people. As a HGV driver it's pleasure to stay for rest. Big parking with a lot available spaces only 18£ night with 4.5£ food voucher. The food is fantastic and big portion. So definetly deserved my 5 star review

   Already reviewed how fabulous this place is as an overall place to park up for a daily rest but just had to include another purely for the quality of the carvery! It is simply outstanding!! Fresh, high quality, home cooked and maybe the best gravy I’ve ever had!! 5***** in every way!

   Great food, great, friendly staff. Prison style showers (no privacy) so I'm knocking a point off for that, but otherwise I cannot fault the place. Very good value for money and very aesthetic sorroundings
