“Large and friendly Asian restaurant, with speedy service. Vegetarian dishes are cooked with vegetable oil, so are generally vegan. I had the vegan Balti Palak Aloo Dhal & mushroom rice, which were absolutely delicious. Would thoroughly recommend.”

“have not been over 3 years, mainly due to covid pandemic. we visited 1:40pm on saturday, unsurprisingly, there wasn't long queue. (probable a pub was also opened in garden centre) and plenty of empty tables. the standard of food was maintained. the fish butty was delicious, the chocolate tart and fruit cake were tasty.”

“Me and my family went to Nando’s in Parkgate, Rotherham for lunch and had a great experience. It was very busy, but the staff handled it really well—service was still quick and friendly. We’ve been to various Nando’s over the years, and this one really stood out as one of the best. The food was hot, well cooked, and absolutely delicious. Everything arrived fresh and on time, and the staff made sure we were well looked after. We all enjoyed our meals and had a lovely time. Definitely recommend if you're in the area!”

Due to a last-minute business trip to Sheffield, we needed a table, and he went above and beyond to fit us in and was so helpful in explaining the menu. ​The food quality truly blew me away. “We’ve came for Sunday lunch as a table of 6. The service has been impeccable, very quick with bringing the meats out. All the meats were super tender, especially the minted lamb. However I did love the cinnamon pineapple. All the staff were really polite and friendly. I will definitely be coming back!”

“Moved to Maltby recently and this is the first fish and chips tried. I have family members visiting who are gluten free so picked this one. Lovely fish and chips all round, and lovely service too, friendly, welcoming, speedy, price competitive. Even though I personally don't have dietary needs, I'll order from here going forward in preference to others without the GF options because I appreciate the effort taken.”

“Extremely generous portions. Beautifully freshly prepared traditional Greek Fayre. I had the Minotaur breakfast and other than being slightly overfaced by the sheer size of my breakfast I absolutely loved it !!! The warm, fresh humous was the best I’ve ever tasted!!!”

One of the staff called Jess helped me get the rewards app which I didn't even know was a thing, so really happy. Good atmosphere - staff were all smiles. Food is always great at Urban but gotta tip my hat to the salad - cool and fresh just what we needed in 30 degree heat. My new go-to store. Highly recommend.”

“For me, best cafe in Rotherham town centre. I can't comment on it as a bar (never been on an evening), but it's my go-to for a Saturday morning breakfast. Independent, friendly, good food, reasonably priced. The staff have a good rapport with regulars. Decent music a lot of the time too, which makes a nice change for cafes. I recommend their full breakfasts - I'm not a small fella, and their large breakfast is too much for me! They take card payments, but cash is preferred if possible.”

“It's a clean little sarnie shop. Pop in and order, freshly prepared, then and there. The best bacon, egg, and tomato butty I've ever had. A stack of perfectly cooked bacon and a runny egg. They really take care preparing, neat and tidy and delicious.”

“This is a fantastic place, for a meal, or for drink or two. The menu is varied, the quality of the meals is amazing, they are very tasty and a very reasonable price. My favourite is the steak pie, it is something else, full of meat, and like other choices very enjoyable. I have taken my elderly mum several times, it’s firm favourite of hers and mine. I also enjoy a good night out with friends there, the drinks menu is varied, and the atmosphere friendly and welcoming. If I could give this place more than five stars, I would, it is that good.”
