   I'm a local resident and get In here from time to time, the food is always good the chips are tasty and the chicken and fish awesome also. Any complaint i have isn't about the food, that's great and has been since the beginning. No the reason I don't like to go in during the day is because the owner/owners son asks very nosey and invasive questions . I’m sure he’s just being friendly but when i fancy fish n chips I shouldn’t expect the Spanish Inquisition as well. It’s called Boundaries.

   Moved to Maltby recently and this is the first fish and chips tried. I have family members visiting who are gluten free so picked this one. Lovely fish and chips all round, and lovely service too, friendly, welcoming, speedy, price competitive. Even though I personally don't have dietary needs, I'll order from here going forward in preference to others without the GF options because I appreciate the effort taken.

   Very average Chippy. There is nothing stand out but definitely nothing wrong with it. Battered sausage was really nice and the gravy was a stand out item. The rest was very very average. For the price its good, portion size is smaller than average but still more than reasonable. Nothing to shout about but if you want a chippy thats not bad, this fits the bill. Service was amazing in store which was a massive plus and is the main reason i would return.

   We had two Cod Specials this after and they were absolutely brilliant. I ordered them online(so easy) and just went along picked them up got them home, nice and hot, perfect chips and what wonderful fish, lovely light batter, couldn't rate it any higher. Highly recommended.
