   We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! Our waiter, Jang, was really nice and welcoming - he went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and kept the children happy throughout the meal. The food was superb, the atmosphere was lovely, and all the other staff were helpful and friendly as well. Well definitely be coming back!

   I recently visited Akbar’s. The reception team, waiters and all the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Their service really added to the whole experience. I’ve visited other Akbar’s branches before, but I have to say the food at the Rotherham branch truly stands out, the flavours here are just amazing. Must-try dishes: Meat Chops Chapli Kabab Karahi Ghosht Chicken & Chilli Balti Pair the mains with their famous Family Naan and you have the perfect meal combo that leaves both your heart and your stomach completely full. Highly recommended. Can’t wait to visit again!

   Large and friendly Asian restaurant, with speedy service. Vegetarian dishes are cooked with vegetable oil, so are generally vegan. I had the vegan Balti Palak Aloo Dhal & mushroom rice, which were absolutely delicious. Would thoroughly recommend.

   Went there for dinner on Sunday. Was told over the phone there are plenty of seats available but when we got there, we had to wait for approximately 10 minutes. I don't mind waiting but would have preferred to be told the truth. The starters, grilled king prawns and fish fry (don't remember exactly what it is in the menu). The king prawns were just amazing and these were the best I have ever had. The fish fry was good too as the spices were very very light. So if you are expecting spices in the fish they you'll be disappointed. But the fish batter was light and overall was good. Main course, ordered Haleem, extremely disappointed. It felt like having a blended chicken and meat curry. Lentils are added to haleem but they seem have forgotten to add the main ingredient. Over spicy, had a lot of chopped green chillies in it. I would never pay £11 for such a curry! Naan: ordered a Keema naan which was delicious but they cannot justify the price £4.45 or around that. TLDR: expensive, starters (king prawn and fish) are great, main course - Haleem £11.45 is disappointing, Keema naan - £4.45 is good but not worth the money. Had to wait 10 minutes, although was told, no waiting times.

   Hi all, Great restorane, with great quality food, only for people who likes light diner will jot prefer this. Thats because all restorant are on dark side or low lighting over restorant. Got to give 3 stars because e got dirty menu, no pints only bitle beer and low lighting over restorant. Food was amazing and can be enjoyed esspesially if person likes spicy food. For non spicy food lowers would not advise this tho.

   Went for our anniversary & was talking to the manager (I think) & mentioned it was, to our surprise they brought us a dessert whilst Cliff Richards song Congratulations was playing, the food is absolutely amazing & whatever you leave you can takeout, would highly recommend
