My husband bought these on his way home. They have obviously changed hands always use to be fresh and good. The batter on the fish was thick and the fish was dried. The chips were like rubber and the mushy peas were tasteless. Won’t be going back will get fish and chips in Cleckheaton much tastier and fresher. Also place not that clean
Great value, nice, clean looking place. It smells clean, like they use good quality fresh fat and really good quality Haddock. Got a fish today, no chips (diabetic), as always, it was excellent. Lovely crispy batter and sweet succulent Haddock with a firm texture, beautiful.
Ordered from just eat, food arrived hot so no complaints there at all and the portion size for the price really isn’t that bad. Just over £13 for fish and chips with curry sauce delivered! I did find the batter a bit overcooked and the fish was a bit dry, chips were standard and what you’d expect. Honestly not bad at all, will probably order from here again.
I've been a few times now over the past weeks and this last time there were eleven people in front of me.I wasn't going anywhere else because I knew that the fish and chips would be straight out of the fryer and be red hot.When to I left there must have been another twelve queueing.Just goes to show how good the food is lovely white fish and nice chunky chips.Good value.Thanks.

Just ordered fish and chips from here, chips were cooked beautifully as was the fish. Batter wasn't soggy and was just the right amount. You could even choose if you wanted your fish lightly battered! Could tell the peas were proper peas and not just tinned too. Never find chippies like this anymore, will definately be ordering from here again!
Really nice fish and chips, cooked fresh but worth the wait. Prices are reasonable, no more expensive than any where else.
Good sized portions of fish and chips. When it's good it's very good. When it's not it's poor. The fish batter can be thick and heavy and limp and greasy. Sadly this has been more common lately. They have a very nice spicy Irish chip shop curry as well as the more common English one. Mushy peas are great too.
