   AVOID ORDERING FOR DELIVERY. I have tried twice now on separate occasions to order food from here as I’d heard good things. Both orders went through and money was taken from my bank. First time a message was sent to me saying that the restaurant was closed and tonight I had a message to say that the restaurant has rejected my order and it may take up to 5 days for a refund. Both attempts were on Saturday or Friday evenings so I doubt they are closed. Safe to say I won’t be attempting to order a third time. A real shame.

   Most of the food apart from the rice, was cold. The chicken korma I ordered was a weird pale yellow colour and wasn't very tasty. The chips were hard and some were undercooked. And the poppadoms were stale. I only gave an extra star because the rice was actually quite nice.

   Curry sauce was ‘bitty’ and very thin. The chicken was very dry. The keema naan was decent. Egg noodles were so heavily seasoned with black pepper it made them unenjoyable.

   We just had the best Indian food we have eaten in an age from Jay's. I was considering never bothering again as all of the takeaway Indian restaurants near us have served disappointingly bland, tasteless casseroles. In direct contrast, the food was beautifully spiced and was hot and fresh. The staff were enthusiastic and eager to please. Well done Jay and Co. Keep up the great work!!!
