   Greeted with a very cheery smile Cake butty was great. Crispy batter a good size well cooked with plenty of fish in the middle of 2 steaming hot peace’s of potato. Can’t fault it.

   Called in today at Thornton Fisheries for a tray of chips for each of the grand kids, the staff are really friendly, they let you know how long things are going to be and everything was hot in fact really hot. A lovely village chippy. I hope you continue to do well.

   Food atmosphere and food standards have gone down big time since martin left. We felt completely unwelcome the girl kept looking at us and laughing and the lad looked so hostile, no health and safety practices found a blonde hair in the food, did no one tell the staff to wear hairnets? And they left food off our order so we got a nice little scam from them. The food was rubbery and burned and dripping in grease, just shoved in some wet paper Absolutely vile, will never come here again this place needs shutting down absolutely disgusting
