I ordered a bacon spam and I received some discussing rubbery halal option..? Why not say it’s halal while I was ordering..? Instant latte not stirred properly and full of lumps complete waste of money
I have been coming to this place for over a year the food is always spot on, hot and served by friendly staff. I always recommend this place for a wide range of HALAL food and breakfast options at reasonable pices. A must try.
Today I ordered a Medium Breakfast for myself and a (Luncheon Meat) Spam and Egg Sandwich for my Partner. Food arrived hot and fresh however this was probably the only thing I could award positives for. Items on the menu which were of quality which prevent this from being a lower rating were: - Hashbrowns, Crispy but soft on the inside. - Mushrooms, Cooked well and not overdone. The other items which were a negative which is why I would not order again are: - Sausage, Tasted like it was potentially a vegan alternative. I’m assuming they were Halal however many places I’ve had Halal Sausage have had a quality meat flavour but these were lackluster. - Bacon, Similar to the Sausage in taste however this was amplified by how chewy and rubbery it was. It actually appeared to be very gamey in texture and was just not enjoyable. - Eggs, Way to overdone. I understand not sending runny yolks incase a customer doesn’t like that but they had been cooked to a level in which it tasted like a boiled egg. I can tell it was poached but jut for too long. - Luncheon Meat/ Spam, I was intrigued by this concept but does not equate to spams quality and held a very dark flavour in which couldn’t sit well in a breakfast. It would have been more suited for a sandwich with onions and mustard similar to hotdogs. - Beans, No flavour and almost watery helped to add sauce to the meal but with no flavour present couldn’t award it anything positive. - Toast, Comes with the meal however was sent out burnt as though it had been in the toaster for around 5 minutes. I didn’t specify how I like my toast in the comments but wouldn’t expect to be sent a burnt product. Overall the experience will not have have me return as a customer, I hope that things can change here from what I have experienced as the owners do present as professional and of quality in handling customers on these reviews. Potential of being a very successful business if the food quality can be raised to match the quality of the owners.
My autistic child loved the food (thats rare for him) especially the halal sausages ! Food was on point customer service was very friendly, cheerful and child friendly as my daughter placed the order! Delivery was perfect over all 10/10! Thank you ladies for the delicious food!
What a disappointment, ordered a big breakfast and a medium breakfast. When they arrived they were stone cold and swimming in oil. As if this wasn't bad enough the quality of the food added to insult, I paid a decent price for the food which I am not bothered about so long as I get a decent meal but the sausages tasted like Morrisons value, the bacon tasted like rubber and I have no words about the luncheon meat. In summary save your money and avoid.
Restaurant owners are now going an extra mile to satisfy their clients. It may look like your average neighborhood kitchen, but never taste anything like that fresh 100% HALAL food. I wandered in with two friends on a Friday or any weekday immediately greeted by the friendly staff and incredible service Great menu choices and really decent food and at affordable prices. All were well beyond my expectations. Everything is so fresh. But freshness were out of this world. Breakfast will knock your slippers off. I will be back
