Really great fish and chips (with scraps) on a Tuesday lunchtime for around seven quid. Really Really good!!!

Popped into this fish and chip shop the other night and honestly, it was spot on! The fish was super fresh with that perfect crispy batter, and the chips were so good — exactly how they should be. The staff were lovely, really welcoming and up for a chat while I waited. You can tell they take pride in what they do — everything came out fresh, and the portions were generous (definitely didn’t leave hungry!). It’s got that proper local chippy feel — Definitely my new go-to for a Friday night treat!

It’s disappointing to see old oil being used. The note excusing price increases due to Ukraine and rising costs feels outdated, especially as those prices appear to be declining. It used to be a nice place, but the last two to three visits have noticeably declined. Unfortunately, many chippies seem to have lost the ability to prepare a simple menu properly and instead focus on frequent price hikes. Sometimes, less is more—but here, it feels like less is due to the wrong reasons.

The chips are banging, best I’d had in long time. The fish was average and bit dry, nice cut though. The Spam fritter was thin and tasted mostly of the batter. It is worth the money, but there is better battered fish locally. I can see myself getting chips from here and fish at the other place.

Sad to hear what happened! Will be up soon for more yummy fish. Hope they catch them and you recover soon.

Very reasonable prices for Bingley, and the fish was cooked specially for me. The wait was a bit longer but the fish was fresh and succulent. Will come here again.

Delicious fish and chips, freshly made. We had to wait a few minutes but I’m more than happy to wait. Chips quantity was good, I shared one with my wife and it was more than enough. Outdoor seating (1 bench) is small but nice if it’s sunny.
