Best fish and chips ever. Plus the staff are great and very patient when I cant remember what im after lol
Fish bite meal which had 7g of so called fish and all batter, very greasy too, chips luck warm and also greasy. Disgusting Stay clear, always over priced and over rated.
I have never been served fish, chips and mushy peas like this. Just one shoved on top of the other. Disgusting. I like to have my mushy peas separate instead of being the filling between the chips and fish. There is no way I can make a chip butty now! Everything is lathered in mushy peas! Gross. Why can't they put the mushy peas in a tub like other chip shops?
I used to go here some years ago and really liked the food, it was a favourite stop on the way up to Wickersley for a Kebab. Today we were in Rotherham and fancied Fish and Chips so made the journey up here. Fiveways has had a really nice makeover and you can always tell a 'busy chippy', superb fish, chips, mini sausage and mushy peas (and of course scraps) for a very good price. Dropping in here reminded me how good it was and it won't be so long before we call again!
All i can say is wow. The quality of your food is amazing. I've had the fish special tonight and the fish was so nice. Golden crispy batter. The chips was delicious soft on the inside like mash crispy on the outside. Trust me if you want quality and good value too come to this place. You will not be disappointed.
Ordered 2 munch boxes 1 could have fed 2 people. Great value. Large chips are very large ! And nice Large sausage was OK Fishcake was very good. My only request would be have large options for beans peas curry gravy etc. Went at 4pm, they were busy but staff were great and well organised. Brilliant.
Love this place, staff are friendly and helpful. Food is fresh and hot. It's been closed recently for refurbishment and is bright, clean and spacious for the long ques!!
We happened upon this fish and chip takeaway after disappointingly realising other local ones were shut, and we're glad they were. Big queue out the door on arrival which soon dropped down, friendly staff and reasonably priced fish and chips which were great! Thoroughly enjoyed by all and we will definitely go back.
