Fantastic place. Exceptional food - credit to the chef. We had grilled cheese and pulled park sandwiches. Both fantastic. Staff stretched on a busy sunny day but couldn’t have been friendlier and were completely on it. Will be back!

Had a great meal last night, but the taco selection is odd. You have to have 3 all the same... My girlfriend and I ordered 3 different tacos each and were told that you couldn't order this, they had to be 3 the same. Odd..Who wants that? So we ordered something else, which was lovely. If you want tacos, go to El capo in Manchester.

Extremely laid back informal place to have brunch. The prices were reasonable enough for the current climate. Portions could be bigger though. Food was different but enjoyable. Service was lovely enough for the laid back vibe of the restaurant. Our waitress was lovely but she never told us her name so shout out to the waitress with the tatoos. Thanks for looking after us! One star has been deducted because we had to ask and wait for basics like salt and napkins good thing we didn't require pepper... also we were 2 people dining and our food was not served at the same time one had to wait while the other had to eat. All in all a relaxed experience and enjoyable different food.

Came for my birthday lunch after a recommendation. Barrio did not disappoint! The staff here are absolutely lovely and a big bonus is that they're dog friendly! We sat in the secret back garden which was cute and spacious enough that our greyhound could happily lie down on the floor without being in the way. We ordered the breakfast tacos and pibil sandwich, both of which were tasty. Hopefully will come back again to try the dinner menu which I was eyeing up too! Forgot to take pictures of the food, but did take a photo of my happy dog :)

Breakfast was quite good if not outstanding. Black beans instead of baked beans is genius (although I understand traditionalists cam ask for the latter). Coffee also good

Unique take on typical indie-cafe food! I had a slightly spicey bacon butty and eggs benedict which had a delicious kick and I've never tried such a unique take on traditional breakfast food! Friendly staff, nice atmosphere :)
