Just popped in for a lunch, service was 5* and also the presentation of a chip cob/breadcake/butty was 5*. The news paper is a nice touch!
As a dutchman I was looking forward to a real English fish and chips and from previous experience a had to go back to this shop and as usual, I was not disappointed!!!! Gorgeous cod and service with a smile. I'll be back soon
Came to oceans on a recommendation after travelling from Carlisle to see family. Very disappointed Fish absolutely diabolical worst peice of fish I've ever had. Chips was like a grease pan will not be coming back when back over visiting! Blonde lady serving very unprofessional with the manner of her voice, the young gentleman and other young brown hair lady very welcoming with smiles wish I could say the same for the blonde lady!. Very overpriced too for the quality of food
Pleased we have a good chippy local to our new home. Food was good , fish slightly over but still good. A great treat in generous portions.
Just opened 4.05pm told the spam fritter was fresh well the one I saw was. god knows when was cooked it was absolutely awful will not be calling in again I've seen thicker beer mats
Food was lovely. We went 11/3/2023 it was really really busy and was only 2 women working and was still amazing to customers.
£8.40 for 2 large chips, and they were dry as owt, like they'd been in the warming shelf for 5 days. This chippy has gone down hill since the new owners. Shame on them. Won't be going back again now.
Very tasty fish & chips with huge portions as well.. Doner meals are fab and will definitely fill you up. The ladies that work there are real stars with great service ..
Excellent chippy I actually go out of my way to go to this establishment as the food is that good and service is first class
Everything was fine - chips portions huge which I can find a bit off-putting tbh, but nicely cooked. Prices are ok and service was efficient
