   We have been going to The Golden Fleece for a number of years and never once have we been disappointed. The menu is one of the best in the area from pub classics to cordon bleu meals all mouth watering dishes. Most if not all have an option of a regular portion or for people with a smaller appetite a smaller version. The staff are always welcoming and the service is great too. Highly recommended you won’t be disappointed.

   A real gem of a proper local Yorkshire pub and restaurant. The food is always cooked brilliantly and is outstanding value for money. The staff are always friendly, courteous and well trained, I’d eat there every week if my waist line could handle it!

   We visited as a large family party to celebrate mums 90th birthday . Superb experience. Amazing food and atmosphere. Big shout out to the amazing waiting on staff … Steph, Josh and a girl with long dark hair ( sorry didn’t get your name) They all helped make the special celebrations so memorable with faultless service. Highly recommended and can’t wait to revisit

   Been going to the Golden Fleece for many years since moving to the area and never disappointed. Food is excellent, friendly staff, good selection of drinks and nice that we can take our dog with us. Garden is lovely in the summer with plenty of tables

   Managed to get us in last minute which I really appreciated. We ordered the roast dinners which came out very fast, but unfortunately I felt the quality wasn’t there. Very bland, all vegetables were hard, them, the Yorkshire pudding and the lamb was just very tasteless. The price and sizing options are great, but the food was disappointing. There was a lot of flies surrounding us and I did feel the ceilings could do with a dust (a lot of webs/dust) also better thought out tables. You had a very large table of 24/+ which your staff was really struggling to get around. Staff were very attentive, accommodating and lovely

   We was recommended this place & all I can say is thank god We went. The food was fantastic, the meal portions were excellent & was very good value for money. The staff were very friendly, can't wait to go again. Highly recommend.

   Absolutely cracking! A warm welcome for me, my husband and our little dog. There were a good number of menu choices to suit all tastes. My roast beef was a very generous portion with crispy roasties, a homemade Yorkshire and mounds of veg. The kitchen were very accommodating of a few substitutions due to dietary requirements. Service was also very quick considering we visited on a busy bank holiday. Would definitely eat here again.

   You can't get a much better view than this while drinking a pint and eating a meal. Had really nice king prawn pasta with garlic and would choose that again. Staff were polite and friendly. With a cricket ground next door I'm sure I will be back to watch an over or two soon

   Whether you are looking for quality traditional pub food or dishes with a fine dining Mediterranean flair this menu will fulfill all taste and appetite requirements with their options of small or large dishes. We eat here regularly and always enjoy working our way through their new menus, as do friends and family who also have them at the top of the list for a great meal out. Excellent value on both food and drinks menus.
