“A beautiful and perfectly formed little café (although there is also an upstairs) serving excellent food (the bacon sandwich was divine!). The decor is so unique and the ladies could not have been more accomodating, friendly and welcoming as I needed a charging point for my laptop to do some work as well as a bite to eat and drink. The coffee is hot, fresh, delicious and everything is sensibly priced. An absolute gem of a café, if you're in Elland make sure you stop off, you will not be disappointed. “What a gem of a place! Friendly and welcoming staff. Fab selection of beers from local Elland Brewery (think it's pumped in from underground pipes!!) Relaxed and friendly atmosphere and a lovely interior. Oh and the beers are very reasonably priced. I'm thinking this could be my new local!!”

“I have been really impressed both times. I have visited this chippy. The fish and chips have been delicious, and I have been given extra food free of charge. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Couldn’t ask for more. Keep up the good work!”

“We drove up to Leeds for a stadium tour of the church opposite the cafe.. We arrived at Elland rd. after two hour drive and we were ready for something to eat and drink. We spotted the cafe was open and decided to give it a try. The wife had jacket potato and it was great . I couldn’t resist the belly buster breakfast and added black pudding , well we had a busy day ahead. Wow, it is a belly buster indeed , I can’t fault it , just how a breakfast should be . Everything was cooked to perfection and a huge serving . I loved it , the staff were great , clean environment, smashing good food and a view if the best footy club in the worlds comings and going’s. It would be worth the drive just for the breakfast , thank you .”

“Good premier inn. Staff are great. Room clean and quiet. Breakfast good. Shame parking is now chargeable, even for disabled customers. Bathroom a bit sweaty sock smelling. The TV reception needs looking at as the BBC channels were not available when I arrived. Used auto tuning option and found them, but the were breaking up and pixilated.”

“One of the best meals we have had since moving here 7 months ago from Australia. Fresh, tasty, hot and authentic thai food. The lunch specials were just the right size and great value. “I am slowly working my way through their different coffees from around the globe. The variation on flavors is amazing and it’s nice to have some covenance on the sourcing of the beans. The packaging is very good and resealable to keep things fresh. Excellent service and price, what more could you want.”

“Viet Baguette is one of my go to places whenever I’m visiting Halifax. I’m slowly working my way through the menu and each dish I’ve tried has been fantastic! Today I had the Tofu Vermicelli Noodles which was so delicious, fresh, tasty and made with love! The Bhan Mi and Crunchy Salad are also must tries. The service is fantastic and everyone who works there is so friendly.”

“My Mum and I had a fabulous time at their Mothers Day Afternoon Tea. The food was all homemade (they even grew their own strawberry’s) and it was absolutely delicious. The service was polite, friendly and we were made to feel extremely welcome, with constant refills of drinks and Prosecco! And always making sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was great, it wasn’t too loud or cramped making it easy to have a conversation. We even got cake to take home with us, and flowers too! All for a very reasonable price! I couldn’t fault anything. I will definitely recommend this to anyone, it was by far the best Afternoon Tea I’ve had. And i will definitely be happy to have another one. I also am a regular customer and often have bacon and egg sandwiches which are always delicious. All round great cafe. Super food, lovely people.”
