   Me and my family have visited the gate tonight for a meal and our visit has been amazing as always. It was busy, but Mat from the floor staff still took the time to look after us, served us at our table, and our food came out without much of a wait at all. The food was spot on! We all had something different off the menu and we couldn’t fault it!! We’ll definitely be back again!

   Visited the Gate Inn on a few occasions and have to say that of all the Sizzling pubs around the area we have found it to be the best. The food is cooked to perfection, service is 1st class and a good atmosphere A special shout out to Scott who on seeing that I was having problems with the app stepped in and sorted it out, nothing was too much trouble for him.    Just stuffed myself stupid with the curry house feast followed by the lemon meringue sundae. Absolutely gorgeous. Would recommend this place to anyone. Staff shauna was very welcoming and polite. Couldn't ask for anything better. Definitely be going back in the near future. Value for money anytime. Have to go home to sleep it off now. Thankyou to all the staff for a great service.

   Despite living just 5 minutes away from this place for years I've never actually been in! Decided to visit after I was given a Dine Out Gift Card that was valid here and so glad I did! The atmosphere is great, and we had some nice chats with the staff. However, the star of the show here is the food. It was Saturday afternoon, and it was explained to us that they were busy, and food took a little longer than I would have liked to come out, but it was well worth it! Everything tasted great and it was all cooked perfectly! Really glad to visit, and definitely planning on coming back!

   Great pub, a little hit n miss regards the atmosphere. Sometimes you drop on and it's comfortable with the average background noise associated with a pub, and sometimes you drop on football commentary a little too loud in most areas. Otherwise good selection of beers with good food.

   Good and attentive service. Good menu. Food well presented and tasty (although the guy who ordered the ribs reckoned you'd found an anoerexic pig). Steaks were bit hit and miss: Rare came out rare; 2 medium rares one came out nearly rare, one nearly medium. Deserts to die for. Good selection of beers and gins.

   A lovely pup, very welcoming to us all. The menu had a good variety of meals for us, and a good selection of meals for children, even a selection for over 5 and under 5. I thought that was a brilliant idea. The meal was excellent. We all really enjoyed our meals.
