Ordered takeaway. Reasonable price but that is the only positive unfortunately. The food was lukewarm at best, I reheated mine so it was a decent temperature. The saag aloo potatoes were hard and not cooked enough. The naan bread doughy and wasn’t charred. Almost like it was warmed in a microwave (supposed to be tandoori)?! Popadums were soft and had no snap like they were a week old. Mint sauce was tasteless. Chicken pakoras tasted okay but didn’t hold the batter. Overall all elements were very greasy. Such a shame. Not recommended!

Absolutely amazing!!! Food is unbelievably good and the gents that own the business are lovely people. We will definitely be returning when we're in the area. We got so much food for such a reasonable price. Great conversation, even better food. Can't fault it one bit. If you're in Haworth and fancy a really good curry, this is your place!!!!

My partner and I did takeaway the other night and were blown away! The owner was so lovely when we picked the food up, shaking our hands. And then the food… wow! The Tandoori butter chicken and Korahi fish were both so flavourful and devoured very quickly. Would recommend this place so highly.

Food was fine, I can't remember being either blown away or disappointed. I am veggie though, so the menu is always more limited. Staff were nice, and the location is good. It lost stars as: 1) When we visited, they did not accept card payments, so we had to walk back to an ATM in the pouring rain. They offered a direct bank transfer, which made the whole thing feel a little dodgy. 2) They do not accept Scottish notes, which is their decision but it doesn't make for a welcome sight as the first thing you see in when you arrive.

This place is way better than it was in my memory. The mix starter was ok but the Chicken Badshahi was really good. Chapattis were excellent. Everyone else enjoyed their meals as well.

Had the lamb shank and it was tender with a sauce that left my plate bone dry , great service with a touch of class about the place

Lovely traditional authentic Indian restaurant, really friendly service and reasonably priced. Food freshly cooked but poppadoms could have been a bit fresher Definitely recommend!

Quoting the previous comment: “That has got to be one of the worst curries we have ever had. Everything was flavoured with sugar and I DO mean everything.” —— can not agree more. And the chairs are so dirty that I did not want to touch it. Thought it would be rude to leave after just seeing the chairs but I really should have. Wondering if those positive comments are genuine and if they are, my sympathies to those who never tasted proper Indian food.
