   The fish and chips here are very nice and that’s the reason we keep returning however the poor staff have a torrid time, trying to manage 4 different sizes/prices of fish. It’s hamstringing their efficiency and is causing a blockage in the system causing long waits for customers. Customer don’t want that much choice - we want chips, fish or fish and chips. Go do some market research, check out other shops in the area. None of them give customers a vast choice of fish sizes. There’s a reason for this.

   This was a large fish.. it's as big as my hand! Women working in there mixed up orders twice and then lied to me about the fish sizes. They took orders for different size fish from different people and then when it was pointed out to them they had mixed up orders they said they couldn't because they only had one size fish! I paid for a large and have received the smallest fish I've ever seen. They argued with each other and although one was polite the woman frying was very rude. The lies are what made me leave this review.. if you go here don't waste money on the bigger fish, they only have one size! In response to your reply, I left the review because when I opened up my food the fish you had swapped it for was another small one and I was already annoyed because as you were swapping the fish the woman behind the fryer said she couldn't mix them up because there's only one size. If there was only one size, why when me and the man after me ordered large fish did she get you to clarify that you wanted two large fish putting in? There were 4 small fish that had been ordered twice coming out of the fryer before the two large. The man with glasses in front of me had his order for 4 small fish called through by you before you took care of the phone order, then the other woman serving took his order again and called through another 4 fish. Two of those fish were the two you wrapped up and then swapped for my order the other two had just come out as you were doing that. The two large (if they were?) Would have still been in the fryer. You gave me a small fish, you took money off me for a large the woman behind the fryer got you to confirm it was a large I wanted and then when I question the size she says there is only one size.. one or both of you are liars, when I'm giving my money to someone being a liar is not a personality trait I want to see in them. And at the end of the day if you honestly think a fish no bigger than my hand is a large you need to go and check your competition. There's plenty of other chippys round here we're the large fish is as long as your fore arm.

   Good chips great fish couldn't beat it, the only reason for a four star and not five is I think the portion of chips was a bit too small considering a large cod and chips was ordered. The portion of chips was no more than a hard full, not even a full scoop. I would however definitely still go back there.
