Ordered a pizza and German donner . Very quick delivery and food was hot and smelled nice .... definitely ordering again
I have always found food good and reasonably priced. My issue is had was ordering via website using yoyo payment system. I had to chase order as no food had arrived within the hour. I was told that they couldn't accept orders/payments via yoyo even though I had paid for food and money had left.my account. I reordered over phone and had to pay again on the promise saffron would refund initial payment. Having waited a few days I chased for refund but was then told it was up to.me to chase yoyo and nothing to do with saffron!!!. Appalling customer service and will give wide berth in future
I have been coming here for a few months now, the place is under new management and this place never fails to amaze me. Quality of food and presentation is excellent. Peri wings are to literally to die for, so much flavour cooked to perfection. Staff are very polite will engage in conversation with you and make you feel very welcome. The takeaway is clean and very well presented. You will not be disappointed with these guys!!!
So we odered 2 chicken tikka salads.... The chicken was dry and far too salty and as you can see the salad was a joke (Probably one of the main parts of a salad dish) The pizza and kebab meat and chips were fine
This place is a guilty pleasure! Having spoken with the boss this evening, and learning a lot about Samosas, I thought I'd leave a review. In twenty years, I've only had a couple of 'not great' donner kebabs. Obviously they're not healthy food, but once a month. Draw the line! And the meat Samosas, top marks.
I waited 2 hour for our food and mint sauce was every where on food and bag and cans or drinks
Always have such a lovely experience ordering from saffrons. The delivery drivers are so lovely and the guys behind the counter when you go in will go above a beyond. A brill takeaway always go there, would highly recommended:)
I’m adding to this review because I have just had the owner of this place call me on my mobile. I have been threatened and verbally abused by the person who says he has been in this business for 20 years. Threatening to come and harm my family! Disgusting behaviour and disgusting food. Everyone should boycott this place and I think all local people should know who they are allowing in their village! Very poor! Also the owner openly admitted he’s avoiding TAX. They wouldn’t take card payments so I had to do a bank transfer to a what he described as a personal account because he pays too much tax. The food is very poor and what they describe as SALAD is just onions died green. The presentation is fabulous but the died food is very poor. Looks like I’ll be I’ll have stomach problems tomorrow.
Second time I have we had food poisoning from here. Won't be going again.
1st time customer, and 1st impressions were excellent. While eating, I can say it was eye rolling beautiful. I will deffo be ordering from here again.
