Edited to add (after returning here quite a while now) that the delivery drivers are also great. I'm not sure of his name but on a Tuesday evening the driver who delivers to Charnock is such a lovely, lovely man. Food came when expected, lovely and hot. Food itself was tasty and everyone was happy with their food (which is rare!)
Ordered food tonight. Been ordering from here for years but tonight I had a zinger burger that was half raw. Complained about it and a new one was sent out. But the delivery driver was claiming it was a new order and the food needed to be paid for again. Really poor customer service and will never order from here again
Ordered large mixed kebab with salad on naan. I ordered having read great reviews on social media. However was very disappointed and couldn’t eat it. The salad wasn’t very big and was placed UNDER the main kebab. The naan was very thin and all three meats tasted the same. Wouldn’t recommend.
I was a regular customer of Chilli Chickanoz the last 4 years. Food and customer service were always nice. Wanted to order today and tried to ask a chicken option from the menu but the man behind the counter was extremely rude, he doesn’t understand what I was saying and when I tried to explain myself he just dropped the money back to me and said “go elsewhere”. The amazing reputation being demolished in a second. We are definitely not coming here anymore.
This WAS my go to takeaway. To put this review into context... we have spent 700 pounds this year over 26 orders with these guys. And usually the food is good.. service is good Tonight.. ordered at 9.10pm.. 1 pizza.. and 3 sides of fries and cheese. 1hr and 15 later... nothing.. Rang up... guy answers... sounds half asleep, or stoned... Might be about 20 minutes... 15 min pass.. call back to see what's what... Might be 15 minutes.... still half asleep or stoned. Anyway.. food turns up at 10.45.. 1hr 35 after ordering... and maybe 2 miles from us.. Chips are warm... with some cheese lobbed on.. Curly fries have been double fried by looks of it.. Pizza is warm, but a bit crusty.. Ring shop.. sleepy man answers again... ask why food looks like its been re heated.. he says only takes orders, but precedes to tell me if you put garlic butter on pizza, thats why it burns ( doesnt explain the thrown together chips & cheese and the refried curlies).. ask to speak to boss.. boss won't come on phone, and fobs off through phone guy.. I offer to speak to manager, or come to shop tomorrow. he says "well...come to shop tomorrow then"... Explain that usually they are really good and I just want 2 min on phone to manager.. to get fobbed off more. Tell phone guy that it's easier if I speak to boss, so he isn't relaying conversation when he doesn't need to be.. Go around in circles.... and eventually stoned sleepy guy puts phone down on me.. Call back...and just keeps hanging up.. Delivery guys are sound...always have been!! Usually this place is really good ..but wow... this is next level terrible customer service.. Us and at least 2 other families we are close with order from here regularly .. . That's now lots of business lost. Well done!!!
Rude staff. Used to be able to swap orders about but now they decided to argue with me from a simple request? Not ordering here again you’ve lost a returning customer.
Food always nice but keep charging different prices for the food, and its the same order my son has all the time. How can it be £8.30 one night then jump to £11.30 another night. Just different employees making more money off an.order, which is just disgusting business. The order always placed over the phone not on just eat.
Absolutely disgusting. Our usual pizza shop was closed so decided to give it another chance after every other order has been wrong. This time was no different. The order was wrong and we then got told you now have to pay for salad on a kebab! The food was cold and greasy. Just disgusting. The staff are very rude as well. Won't be making this mistake again!
Shockingly bad of late. Use to be decent but last three times food has come wrong. Thats without it being cold, not nice tasting. Garlic bread was just oil on bread. Had a funny taste. When went down to rectify what came wrong was basically told its not their fault. Manager rude and arrogant.
Awful! Food should have been delivered at 8.10pm, but didn't arrive until 9.40pm. Tried to call the restaurant, but "this phone number is not accepting calls right now. Please try again later". When the food was eventually delivered, it was stone cold. Tried to ring them back again, but still wasn't accepting calls. Ordered through just eat, so requested some of my money back for inconvenience, and poor service, and they have flatly refused. They don't seem to think there is anything wrong with being 90 minutes over delivery time, or with delivering cold food. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!
