Awesome Sunday roast at the Turkey inn, excellent quality, homemade yorkshires and fantastic customer service, what’s not to like. Fabulous atmosphere and super cosy. Highly recommended.

Really nice pub in a lovely location. Food was good. We got prawns and chorizo for a starter. The chorizo was excellent but the prawns were underseasoned. For mains we got the fish and chips and the pan fried chicken, both were very tasty. We had the chocolate cake for dessert which was also nice, but a little small for the price. Losing a star purely because we weren’t amazed by the food, but it was good. It is a pub after all, so obviously food isn’t the main focus.
Unreal food 10/10, starter’s, main and desert. Nice and cosy atmosphere. Very nice staff. Ali very friendly and good to talk to. Good selection of drinks. Guinness coming how it should.
We just randomly found this place after a long hike, having no idea what to expect. It turned out to be amazing. We had beef burgers with fries and they were excellent! The service was great, too. If you want to eat well for reasonable prices, that’s where you should go!
The best pub I've ever eaten at!! 100% confidently dog friendly. When we asked "are we ok with 4 dogs inside?" We were delightfully answered with "We'd be ok with 10!" The food was sublime!! Service impeccable and atmosphere, beautiful! Would 100% recommended and will absolutely return again! The suet pie main and the nachos starter in particular were delicious!!!
Great atmosphere, warm, welcoming and friendly staff. The food was delicious. We went on a Sunday, so Sunday lunch x4, with 3not sure which of the 2 meats were on offer, our choice made easy by the accommodating staff who said we could have both. The crackling on the pork was delicious and the beef so tender. There were 4 clean plates at the end which is always a good sign. Desserts were lovely - the orange treacle sponge went down very well with custard (of course). It was so busy, with families, friends, walkers and local villagers and their dogs all enjoying the warmth and hospitality. We will be back
Very warm and friendly. We had gone camping very close and wanted a good old pub meal. This hit all the spots and more. The food was delicious and staff very friendly. Plenty off parking. There were even a great selection of board games you could play whilst waiting for your meal which the little one loved.
Great choice of local beers. Food was lovely and reasonably priced. Staff were super friendly and I'll definitely be returning. Highly recommended
