Stumbled across this restaurant and so pleased we did! Lovely food and staff, atmosphere very relaxed. Will definitely return.
I visit here regularly with in a group of friends, as a couple with my husband and with my friend who loved it so much the first time that she now insists on coming to me everytime we catch up so we can come here. I don't like spicy food but can still find enough selection to order more dishes than recommended! Haha. I like that the menu has some core favourites and some new items occasionally added. I enjoy getting to chat to the chef if he has chance to come out. I recommend: garlic tiger prawns; aioli with sourdough; Sicilian meatballs; greek potatoes with feta and oregano; tzatziki with flatbreads; manchego croquettes with red pepper coulis; bruschetta - the goats cheese one and the tomato, pesto and mozzarella one; the rocket and parmesan salad; the Greek salad. Now I'm writing this I'm already thinking about when to book again! Thanks for creating an amazing, unique restaurant locally
Lovely decor, menu and staff friendly. But, some dishes suitable for one, some for 2 , arrive at different times (potatoes after main special dish ) seems confused. Dip, potatoes, chorizo and seafood small dish and scotch egg , and4 drinks for £50? Sorry but won’t come back a third time.
We were first time visitors last night. It won’t be long before we return. Very friendly staff, can see the chef at work . Fabulous food.

Brilliant food, decent service and a pleasant atmosphere. The new £15 no-show booking system is poor however. We turned up spent over £100 and was not refunded the £15 no show charge. I had to contact the manager and wait 3 days to get this back. I only noticed the issue as I check my accounts frequently otherwise it would of gone unnoticed. The booking fee would have to be dropped for me to recommended The Old Bank to others.
We had a fantastic night on Saturday, lovely cocktails to start, really tasty sharing plates that are really reasonably priced for the quality and amount you get. We ordered 8 dishes between 3 of us and it was plenty. The service was absolutely spot on, they were more than happy to let us stay and have a few bottles of wine after we had finished eating which was great for us in a lovely atmosphere. Great wine choice too!
