Went here a few weeks ago and was some of the best italian food me and my partner have had. Great for gluten free people - my partner who is coeliac loved the gf pasta and garlic bread. Pizza is fantastic. Highly recommend the tiramisu martini! Lovely authentic restaurant and staff were all lovely too.
Lovely food, excellent service, and a super atmosphere. My favourite restaurant in Chester and you can spend as much or little as you like whilst still having a high quality, freshly cooked beautiful meal. Highly recommended but make a reservation to avoid disappointment.
Stopped by on a work trip to Chester - the hotel restaurant was busy and they recommended this place and I am really glad I went! The food was lovely - everything tasted very fresh and authentic. It was really busy but they were still able to find a table for me, and the food came out very quickly. Despite being busy, they were very attentive. I ordered the linguine al pesto and the tiramisu and both were fantastic. If I'm ever in Chester again, I'll be sure to pop by again!
If you want a decent, not up itself, Italian restaurant, this is the one. Friendly staff who know when to leave you to it. The food is just fantastic and exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be coming back.
I’m in Chester for work, so thought I’d try here. Wasn’t expecting much, it’s hard to find a decent Italian restaurant. La Fattoria is excellent. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the food is delicious. The staff are all Italian, and were gracious enough to let me try what little Italian language I know, so thank you for that. As other reviewers have said, you really should book. I was lucky, not long to wait for a table for one, but a party of four who followed me in were told a table wouldn’t be free for another hour. I’m not trying my luck again, so I’ve booked for tomorrow. Although it was busy, it wasn’t that noisy that you could hear yourself talk. Other reviewers have said this is one of the best restaurants in Chester. Seeing how busy it was, and how much other diners were enjoying themselves, I can well believe it. I hope you enjoy your visit as much as I enjoyed mine.
Absolutely amazing place! I'd been recommended to go there by a few friends and wasn't sure it would live up to the hype...it surpassed expectation! Beautiful food, friendly staff, great atmosphere. Wait times also not too long but it is busy so I'd suggest booking in. Will definitely be coming back!
