Just had the chicken fried rice, normally good but this time no peas, no egg and the chicken seems to be of a cheaper quality. Bit disappointing really as in the past everything has been good. Will have to rethink about ordering from somewhere else in future.
Will not be ordering from here again. I waited an hour and a half for my food, when I phoned to see where it was I was told they were busy and hung up on. When the food did arrive the salt and pepper chicken was rubbery, the noodles and egg fried rice were completely dry and the chips were rock solid.
Lovely Chinese takeaway. The family are so nice especially mother and daughter who tend be out front. Food is excellent I really enjoy it. My personal favourites are the barbecue spare ribs ( dry) very little fat on these and delicious and Char Siu satay delicious and just enough spice and heat but not too much. We have never been disappointed with our food and as we tend to have a big order there's always something added free like prawn crackers or drinks. I used to live near to happy house but I'm a little further away now and don't get to see the lady who owns it but I wish her all the very best, she always gave the children and I fortune cookies and was ever kind and gracious
I was abit skeptical because some of the reviews wasn’t great but wow amazing! Portion sizes are brill and the food is so tasty. Defo worth ordering from here I’m impressed

Best Chinese we have tastest in a while our new go to Chinese the chow Mein for me personally was the best and only chow mein I have enjoyed they had thin noodles and I would ask for the egg noodles to try next time but nothing wrong with the thin ones at all. The salt and pepper ribs where meaty and very flavoury again the best ones I have tasted The chips where good and the curry was also nice The thing that made the whole service 5 stars was the Chippy closed at 10pm we ordered for pick up at 10:55 and they stayed open till 10:10 which is fabulous customer service. Would definitely recommend thank you so much!!
Just ordered for first time £7.10 for half a tub of tiny salt and pepper chicken! What a joke. Crispy shredded chilli beef is soggy and chewy. Prawns in green and black pepper sauce tasteless Both sauces in prawns and crispy beef like water and tasteless. What a waste of 30 quid! Order from happy family down the road won't make that mistake again Won't be ordering again.
