   Very disappointing experience. Paid £16.60 for 2 portions of salt & pepper shredded chicken and a portion of salt & pepper chips at around 10pm on a Wednesday night. The salt & pepper chicken was extremely light in colour which was a bit of a red flag but I thought it might just be fresh oil or whatever so I tried it anyway but it was completely bland and flavourless, it was also really crispy and sounded like eating a bag of Doritos when you took a bite. The chips weren’t bad and were cooked to how chips should be but definitely weren’t ‘salt and pepper’. I called them up shortly after trying some of the food to let them know and the lady completely disregarded what I was saying, was quite rude and insisted they had sold salt & pepper chicken all day and no way only mine could have been flavourless. A lesson learnt and I will be definitely steering away from New China in future.

   Not an appealing Chinese takeaway and is closed most of the time when I go. Not sure if it’s timings but just fish n chips and some pork items so not recommended for Muslims as they don’t really care about cross contamination

   DO NOT EAT from New China on Hollins Road. I have seen the owner bought lots of discounted/near end of date meats from Hollinwood Morrisons while back. Also the lady owner is very arrogant and no respect to its customers. Used to use many years but newer again!

   Order before going in because you may have to wait 20 -30 minutes for your food to be ready, depending on your order. But food is freshly made.

   Hands down the best Chinese in Oldham. Amazing family run business. The food and service is superb! I've lived here for 38 years and all the others dont come close. Great prices and big portions of tasty food!

   I wouldn't even give new china 1 star "long term resident of area" over the last ten years new china has had a serious decline in quality! Greasy Chinese food thats clearly frozen! The chips are pitifully. The review's here are comical compared to talk on the estate about this place FAKE REVIEWS AVOID AVOID AVOID
