   The food is passable at best. We asked for starters and mains to come at the same time and they said yes. The mixed grill, all the meat was luke warm, squid was cold, chicken burger was hot and so was the salmon. Basics again about holding the temperature of food and timing. If ypu can't deliver all food put at the same time and ensure its hot then dont say yes. For pub food the presentation on the lunch menu was pretty poor very much like a large child's portion. There main menu food looked and tastes better, it felt like it was done by two different people. All in all expensive for sub par pub grub. Staff were great with who i assume was the manager ( non uniform) was great. They gave my children done Christmas presents, a colouring book and a word search which was a nice touch. So to sum up, great service average food.

   We went fir a family meal so there was about 10 if us, including our granddaughter. The staff couldn't do enough for us, making sure we had everything we needed. The food was all served in good time and tasted great. Good value for money, but the service from the staff made the day. Always appreciated good customer service and being valued so thank you. Will definitely book again.

   Great Sunday dinner, although gutted mash isn’t on a main lunch, this definitely needs to be added. Fab kids meals, and lovely service. Special thanks to Debbie who helped us through ordering as my son has a peanut allergy. She was great with him and knew just what say to an anxious 11 y/o. Will definitely be back.

   Stopped off here today for brunch and it was fabulous!!!! We regularly eat at The Phoenix and can say with absolute honesty that the staff here and the level of customer service is absolutely fabulous. The food is always fresh and they clearly use top quality produce to make their delicious meals. The brunch today was really lovely and contained all the treats you’d expect from a full English! Would always highly recommend this place and will always return as a happy customer.

   The Phoenix has had an amazing makeover and feels so cozy and welcoming, almost like a lovely modern home. The food was very good, hot and well presented. There were 4 of us and we all received our various meals together in good time. We will definitely visit this pub again.

   Used to call to the Phoenix 35 years ago when I was 1st dating my now wife, she's from Mosborough, myself Rotherham. I don't have any bad memories of the place apart from the double exit car park exit used to be treacherous, which eventually lead to someone crashing into my wife's car on the brow of the hill. Now blocked off so... Anyway. Lovely place, decor is very comfortable and a wide variety of interesting ales. Not easy finding somewhere that does a 16oz T-Bone but now, indeed, I've found one of my happy places hehe... T-Bone and an Abbots and I'm set :) cracking menu and service!

   Had a lovely meal here yesterday, it was wonderful to catch up with one of my friends Mathew Lowe, I remembered I had only cooked for him in the past so figured out it was his turn to cook lol. I almost managed to finish my mixed grill but it was a great sized portion, the woman had Fish chips and peas and really enjoyed it too. Good to catch up with Matty, the atmosphere is excellent, friendly helpful staff, lovely place, will deffinately be visiting again, much love mate.
