It took over 1hr 45 minutes to deliver the food. Food was below average . We have used this chippy for years. But it has gone rapidly downhill on service and quality.
Unsure if it's new owners or just a new menu, but everything was absolutely delicious, very fresh, lots of flavour and huge portions.
All the food we ordered was really bland and tasted almost like it had been watered down. We didn't even save the leftovers it was that bad - won't order again.
As of 26/04/25 food is excellent. Chicken vermicelli was extremely tasty and the mixed veg in oyster sauce supreme. Very pleased and at a good price. Don't change the recipe. Yum
Ordered food for delivery was told 1 hour for delivery finally turned up 2 hours and 10 minutes absolute joke will not be using this place again
Foods always excellent from here and they deliver too! Highly recommended.
Chinese and English meals are delicious and portion sizes are very good. It gets really busy early on but it's just how it is. Best chippy around!
Food was lovely price seems to go up everytime I go and the wait seemed like forever but it was Saturday peak time around 7/8
Decent chip shop, the portions are large and puddings and pies are spot on. The chips are nice but nothing special. The gravy although looks very dark and thick tasted quite nice, just got a bit sickly towards the end as they put quite a lot on.
