Absolutely appalling. Waited almost 3hrs for food to be delivered. Phoned and was lied to saying it would be 25mins. NEVER arrived. NEVER EVER will we be using again.
I have used this place for years, but recently not ordered from here for a few months, mainly due to going to eat in places. Tonight I had a korai and a naga delight. Keema chilli naan and mushroom pilau rice. Wow, I can’t fault any of it. I had half and half so tomorrow night will be good night also. Top marks from me. I won’t be leaving so long to order again either
I have used the spice merchant for over 30 years and never had a bad dish. I don’t know if they have a new chef but I have just had delivered the worst runny tasteless Balti I have ever had. The annoying thing is I always order a few extra for another night and they are all the same.
This is the worst service I have ever experienced, 15 minutes to order the food as the man didn't understand what I was saying. Then the worst food ever, watery thin curry with no flavour. In the past we have had some lovely Currys from here and was really looking forward to it as well as my whole family. We are really disappointed. I will not be ordering for here ever again.

Fantastic food and service, have to wait a bit but worth it ,as they are always busy,been going for years so must be doing something right
DONT ORDER FROM HERE! waited over 2 hours for food! For it to arrive to be lukewarm!!! Called them to be told we’re major busy nothing we can do! told them we won’t be ordering again to be told ok and he put the phone down! I understand there busy but no need to be rude and no customer service!
I had trouble understanding the guy on the phone, his English wasnt the best, they throw in free onion bhajis but in reality this is added to the price, I always pick up my order and found was waiting around for 5 mins even though the place was empty! Food was good and warm I asked for added green chillies and generally a more spicy chicken tikka Balti and that's what was created
