   I don't review often but this was too good to not review, Oldham's HIDDEN GEM - Went in for the first time yesterday, very friendly Chinese family run business, was met by I believe the lovely mum at first! Ordered 1. Fish 2. Salt and Pepper Chicken 3. Chips 4. Curry Sauce Very short wait time, cooked fresh with huge portions at a low cost! Was absolutely delicious especially the Salt and Pepper Chicken, I will be ordering this again and again. The family enjoyed it so much we went for a second time today, definitely the best curry sauce in Oldham!!! They threw in a free incredibly large bag of prawn crackers which paired lovely with the curry sauce!!! I went and got the Chicken chow mein and King prawn chow mein. Order taken by the lovely boy that works there, very friendly and kind explaining the different items they have! Even took the time to ensure all items were within my dietary restrictions :D Both were incredibly well cooked and flavourful, loved it!!! This is definitely going to have to be a repeated visit even though its a 10 minute drive from me!!! Everything is incredibly fresh, very fast service, lovely workers there, the Man Sun is amazing!!! Not sure why the other reviews are awful when this is one of the best if not the best chinese chippy I have ever been to.

   The food is dreadful...In any event,please! teach the staff to be pleasant and smile when they take your order...and your money! Gosh,they are so incredibly miserable.It's as if they are doing you a favour. Two months down the line,and my usual 'chippy' closed,I thought I'd give it another try,as I did't really have an option...only for chips and curry sauce,which I just happened to fancy. The staff clearly hadn't read any reviews.as they continue to win gold medals for their talent of being so unbelievably darn miserable. Got back home to junk food...literally! The chips were simply diabolical.Dry potato ends,soggy,and by contrast bits so sharp,they could have damaged your mouth! They must have been the last batch in the trough,and should clearly have been thrown away,or given to the local cat. Never again,lesson learned,and that's it for me thanks.Try the Happy Family Huddersfield Road...they really are,and the food is great!!

   Pretty rubbish, only reason I go there at all is because it's the nearest. Chinese dishes lack flavour and staff can be a bit surly at times.

   I'm from Manchester and was around the area delivering parcels and decided to go in for lunch and I hands up have to say this was the worst place I've ever been to, the food was absolutely disastrous as I ordered fish and chips. The fish smelt like dead mice and the chips were cold and soggy. I felt really upset about it as I only had 30 mins for lunch. I complained and asked for the food to be replaced or refunded due to the sub zero quality of food. I was then told the food couldn't be changed bec the chef was currently going for his break and he wouldn't be back until another hour so they were going to close the shop for the hour. I then requested to be refunded but was denied that too as according to the staff member I was apparently lying even after showing them and asking them to inspect the food for themselves. I was really frustrated because I was being called a liar when yet I was holding the evidence in my hand. We couldn't come to an agreement and as the arguing got to a boiling point I believe the manager/owner shouted the f word and told me to get lost. At that point I lost it and swore back and tossed the food on the floor and walked out because for me it wasn't about the few pounds, it was the attitude and the immoral behaviour that made me want to walk off before it got nasty. Honestly I would recommend people to stay away from such rogue traders who swear and disrespect customers. Worst experience of my life. If I'm ever offered to go there again I would instead pay out of my own pocket to just not to go there ever again because the people who run this place are disgusting people.
