   Stopped off on my way back from Elland Road having walked almost an hour in the pouring rain, it was late i thought they might not serve me, but I was made very welcome.. I can't remember the exact Lamb curry dish I had but it was so full of flavour and spiced just right.. had a beer too as I waited as it was a takeaway.. next time I want to sit in, will definitely return

   Really loud at night but u can get a quieter seat. Food was brilliant if not too succulently fatty but when it's cold out it's the perfect meal to warm up to. Will defo go again.

   Everything about this place is amazing! I do generally prefer buffets myself and the Nawaab in Manchester is one of the best buffets for Indian/pakistani food, but this is arguably the best restaurant in Leeds for this kind of food. Perfect spices in each dish we had and very tasty. We had great service all round and a special mention to Sal who looked after us very dearly and made us feel very welcome as if he’d known us for years. 100% coming back - thank you all for an amazing meal ❤️

   2 start for customer service. But 5 stars for the quality and taste of the food. The chef needs a pay rise surely. The food was authentic and is on par with the food you get in some best restaurants in India (Hyderabad). This would be my go to for take away or a delivery any day.

   To start with, they charged £8.45 for 6 poppadoms. The way they did this felt very deceptive. They didn't approach me, the person who made the booking, but instead asked one of my guests if they wanted poppadoms for the table. They did not mention price, and when the bill came, we saw how expensive they were. Considering poppadoms are often the cheapest items on the menu, and no mention was made of price, this seriously rubbed me the wrong way. Keep in mind we didn't even have menus, and hadn't sat down to be able to check to price at this point. They were a similar price to some of our mains! Besides this, the food was quite good and mostly enjoyed by all. The atmosphere was okay and staff were polite, but the area near the front where we were seated was freezing cold - even when the door was shut air from outside was making it's way in. Personally, I would not recommend this restaurant. You can get food that is just as good or better without being ripped off by the poppadoms.

   Great food, lovely surrounds, very helpful and polite staff. First class! I’ve been eating here with a friend, monthly, for over 5 years and it’s my ‘go to’ Indian/Pakistan restaurant and I’ve always had a first class meal. Called in yesterday. Service and food once again first class. A splendid menu supported by lots of drinks to select. I would recommend booking as it it is popular, even midweek! 5 mins walk from Leeds Railway Station/Queens Hotel.

   I went to the Nawaab last night, this was the first time in a while mainly due to Covid restrictions. Before then I was a fairly frequent customer. Great to return and it won't be long before I'm back again now. On entering last night I was really welcomed by all the members of staff who remembered me from the last time I was there . The staff are still brilliant and make you feel really welcome and the food is still as great as before, I would give them more than 5 stars if it was possible. I'll see you soon.
