   We literally could not love Orange Bird more. They were super accommodating to my sisters lactose intolerance, making sure she was still able to enjoy plenty of the dishes. The food was delicious, as always. I don’t usually like aubergine but I can’t get enough of their dish, the hummus and the curry butter chips are out of this world. We will continue to keep coming back again and again. Thank you for a wonderful evening x

   An amazing little gem, such a dazzling atmosphere and the most attentive and knowledgeable staff. The open plan kitchen gives you a glimpse of the magic that gets brought to the table. Incredible menu with such good wine offerings and not at all hard on the wallet. Would whole heartedly recommend this place! Will definitely be making another trip here!

   I was quite excited to come here and they didn't disappoint. The 5 star rating almost threw me off - such unanimous praise can sometimes discourage honest lower ratings. However their 5 star is more than well deserved. Food: What we ordered: -Masala Flatbread -Hummus -Chakalaka -Peri peri chicken -Caramelised aubergine -Jollof rice -Miso Malva -Peppermint Starters: - Flat bread was phenomenal, warm, had depth and paired so well with the hummus, hummus had a great heterogeneity and flavour, chakalaka was also well spiced and tasted good. Mains: - Peri peri chicken had a fantastic char, sauce was perfectly spicy not too sharp nor salty, and even the white meat was tender, caramlised aubergine (coming from someone who normally dislikes aubergine) was fantastic, crisp, sweet and the cucumber pairs well with it. Rice was okay, probably the only dish I wouldn't re order, it didn’t offend, but it didn’t exactly excite either, a bit dry, a bit meh. Dessert: - I understand why everyone raves about it, miso malva had such a nice bite factor to it, was so well balanced in the notes from the stout and the sweetness *not too sweet. Peppermint dessert is like others have said a bit reminiscent of aero but in the best way possible, again had a great bite and not overly sweet so you can pickup on everything. Service: - Lovely staff, was there when we needed anything, checked up, no faff no issues Atmosphere: - The only actual drawback of the night for me was for whatever reason our table was really sticky, my phone would stick to it, so would the glasses, menu and so forth. Slight dampen of my experience but would not stop me from returning at all, even no table and I'd still come here. Overall: Fantastic resturaunt in sheffield, with a very well balanced menu and such unique and good tasting dishes. I will be coming again.

   Great atmosphere, friendly host, most importantly, superb foods. I really liked the lamb curry and the fried aubergine dish but the highlight of the meal was the bread. One of the very best we've ever had. The ice cream cup was full of flavour. I enjoyed it very much but felt they were outshined by the mains. It is now my favourite restaurant in Sheffield.

   Wow. If only one word needed, that's it. We found this place based on their 5* reviews (a feat in itself) and drove the 50-min to check them out. Yep - totally legit. Every dish that came out was superb. I'm a little...no a lot, bummed they are not closer as I would frequent this establishment all the time. I definitely want to go back and try other dishes - but these are what we had: Warm mosbolletjies, Blue cheese boerewors, Caramelised aubergine, Watermelon salad, and Hot cauliflower (mains) and Miso malva pudding (omg, the brown butter ice cream!!) and OB Peppermint crisp tart (desserts).

   Amazing experience! Great food, great service, a luxury experience without a luxury price. Also, can we talk about the decor? Unique, cute, and detailed!Definitely worth a try, you will end up going back. Already on my second visit (and planning the third), I found myself having favourites. You need to try the olive oil ice-cream, the malted milk ice-cream, the beer crackers + feta cream, the duck leg and the BBQ pork. Basically you need to try everything, but these ones I wouldn't mind eating every day! New favourite fancy dinner spot!
