Always get our Chinese takeout from here and love it every time. Very tasty food with lots of flavour at a great price. Recommend the Duck in Plum Sauce and Mixed Meat Singapore Vermicelli. Staff lovely and food always ready and hot when you come to collect. Lucky to have such a great local spot

I’ve ordered from here tonight for the first time. Not entirely happy. Soft noodles & chips were really dry & salt and pepper chicken pieces lacked a hell of a lot of flavour really bland.. I choose due to reviews were mixed but more good than anything and I was really disappointed. I won’t be returning but hopefully one day I hear good things about the place so we can come back and try again

What an absolute treat. I ordered a House special chow mein and mini spring rolls and I was so happy with my order it was delicious!! packed full. A great portion size and with lots of flavours. I loved the crunchy vegetables and the meat was cooked to perfection. By far the best chow mein I've had in my life. Everything was piping Hot and packaged perfectly. My Dad ordered from you yesterday and said the same for his special fried rice. That it was delicious and he's used you before and is always happy with his food. Looking forward to my next visit!! Very happy! Thank you!!!

We ordered a collection from here using the website for the first time and we will definitely be returning again soon. I was recommended this place from a friend and she was right the food is beautiful. I got a big order of various different things and the whole family didn't complain once. Hot and tasty. Our favourites was the salt and pepper chicken balls and the BBQ ribs in BBQ sauce. The ribs were so juicy and full of meat like they was years ago. Not found a place that does ribs like that in a long time. The chow mein, fried rice, chips and mini spring rolls were also lovely.

Ordered from D&F maybe 4 or 5 times since I moved to Reddish a year ago and tried a couple variations of the munch boxes aswell as a few other dishes. Each time I've noticed a consistent pattern and I know what to expect now. Each time I've ordered the chips have been consistently good. My partner thinks they are frozen not fresh peeled potatoes and I think I'm in agreement although personally I don't mind as I love the thickness of the chip and they are usually still quite fluffy inside. The curry sauce is consistently good as well. It has a nice deep flavour which I've not found at any other local Chinese takeaways. It is a little on the thicker side maybe occasionally too thick. The meat dishes come with plenty of meat which I think is a higher quality overall than most of the local competitors. The salt and pepper boxes are harshly seasoned. I had a 9" box last night and half way through it I was starting to think it was too much and wasn't enjoying it so much. I finished it because I didn't want to waste it rather than because I was wanting more. I was expecting to get heartburn all night from all the salt. Don't get me wrong it's good that it's seasoned but it gets rather unpleasant after a few mouth fulls it could do with being a little more subtle. The rice is the complete opposite.. I've had a few rice dishes now and each time it's been bland and dissapointing. I've had special fried rice with plenty of meat but lacking in flavour and last night I got egg fried rice in my salt and pepper box and it was exactly as anticipated completely bland. I actually put a bottle of soy sauce to one side specifically for the rice before the food even arrived because I knew it would be flavourless. Chicken balls, shredded chicken, chicken pieces all decent. Spring rolls okay. Ribs not the best more fat than meat. Overall its a pretty decent Chinese takeaway with good portions, some very nice meals, some okay meals which could really be enhanced with subtle changes. Pricing seems reasonable for the overall experience. For me its a solid 7/10 consistently after several visits.

After eating so many Chinese food takeaway restaurants, I still think this one is the best, the food delivery service is also fast, and the quantity is also plentiful!

Will Not order from here again I pre ordered 2 hours prior to delivery slot time. The food was like it had been cooked at the time ordered and kept warm somewhere until delivery time. It was soggy and warm . After paying £34 for the order we were not happy and the food was binned.

Used to be my go to chippy / takeaway. But they now use frozen chips and the quality of the salt & pepper chips which used to be one of the best in Stockport have gone down in quality. I will not be returning till they go back to using traditional chippy chips. UPDATE........ I recently tried this takeaway again. And I'm sorry to say the quality has gone down hill. I only tried it has family visited & they have enjoyed it previously. Even they commented on the poor quality.
