We ordered takeout and haven't been to the restaurant yet - but we absolutely will be going. Arguably the best curry we've had so far in Yorkshire, and the prices are exceptionally reasonable. The delivery guy was also EARLY, the food arrived in half the quoted time.

Came here yrs ago when it was taste of India. It got recommended by family and we haven't been disappointed. Up to now we've only picked up a takeaway but they are so fast and my hubby usually has a drink while we wait, the staff are lovely and polite. Chicken passanda and their onion bahjis are spot on. Can't wait to sit in and have a proper experience.
Celebrated my husband’s birthday tonight at this restaurant and what a treat! Plenty of choice on the menu. Delicious starters and mains which we all throughly enjoyed! We asked about the red sauce and our waiter was happy to bring us some free to try and it too was so tasty. Staff were friendly, polite and welcoming. First time trying this place after a recommendation from a good friend. Booked a table for 8 of us. Service prompt and drinks served quickly. I had lamb chops for starters (£4.95) and they were a delight. 3 large meaty chops with non-hot spices, soft onions and side salad. Suitable for those with no tolerance for chillies. My main was lamb jalfrazi with garlic bread and rice. Pretty damn good as well. All 8 of us enjoyed our food and had a very positive experience. They have a good range of curries for those with low chilli tolerance. Will definitely recommend giving this restaurant a go.
Tried the Curry Spoon for the first time and we weren’t disappointed. Friendly service and excellent food. We went with our two young boys and they were made to feel very welcome. Naan breads were some of the best we’ve had anywhere in Sheffield and the Chef’s special chicken tandoori dansank was full of flavour and perfect spice level. Everything is cooked to order and so can be adjusted depending on preference. Spoke to the owner and they do takeaway, order by phone, with a website coming soon. Really pleased to have a good Indian back in Hillsborough, we’ll be back.
Just visited for the first time for Valentine's Day and was really impressed with the quality of the food. The range was varied, making it hard to decide what to have! The Portion size was great, the taste was amazing and the service was attentive. My partner was even given a rose as we left. I will definitely be back soon!
Had a lovely dinner back in early December. The manager welcomed us and told us we were his first eat in customers in their opening night. It was a warm welcome and attentive service and the food was excellent. Sizzling mixed kebab for 2 as a starter and great curries. Naan bread was one of the best we've had. All in all a great experience. We will definitely back, in fact we're off there tonight
Family of three, all enjoyed the food. Restaurant nice and clean with a brand new looking floor! Best naan bread I’ve ever had and the chicken in the curry was perfectly cooked. Highly recommend for curry lovers!
First time visit tonight (5/1/23) and certainly won't be the last. Highly recommend to either eat in or take out. Excellent value for money, lots of choices (took ages to decide what to order!), plenty of choices for vegetarians too, excellent friendly and helpful staff. Was very upset when Taste of India closed down, but believe me, you won't be disappointed with this new restaurant!
